6:00 - Wake up.
6:45 - Be on deck at swim practice, ready to dive in.
9:20 - Arrive in AP calculus, homework ready to turn in.
1:00 - Work on background guides for Model UN during lunch.
2:10 - Perform prepared speech in academic decathlon.
3:50 - Attend National Honor Society meeting.
4:30 - Clock in at work: an ice skating rink.
10:00 - Play a card game with family over dinner.
11:15 - Finish remaining homework while spotify plays through headphones.
12:00- Sleep.

While this isn’t a perfect schedule, it shows what a day in my life can look like. Juggling clubs with academics and family time takes persistence, but it’s nothing I can’t handle. I’ve always had the problem of biting off more than I can chew, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

However, this makes narrowing my intellectual interests into a few categories fairly difficult. What my schedule doesn’t show is the time I spend doodling in calculus, imagining what new poster I can design to hang on my wall. It hides the time in swim where I mull over the study I read on the therapeutic applications of light. Now, I know these seem broad, but I can see specific applications in each topic. The topic affecting life that seems to be overtaking my mind now is epidemiology; by studying the functions of diseases we are effectively figuring out how the effect on life is created. Following epidemiology is another one of my favorite subjects; economics. By studying the biology side and the economics side, one could genuinely see how life could be changed. I believe costs must be kept in mind throughout the process to make sure the work yields a usable
