“You don't use that tone of voice with me.” Crash was written and directed by Paul Haggis demonstrating the lives of different individuals unfold. Throughout the film, two people, in particular, stood out. Anthony and Peter are best friends committing crimes such as robbery and murder. Their destinies could not be so different.
In the beginning scenes of the movie with Anthony and Peter, they discuss the ‘injustices’ of their neighborhood, such as the possible racism of the time. Peter believes Anthony is exaggerating when he talks about rap’s ‘bad’ history or the reason for big windows of the public bus. After Anthony witnesses, a movie director, Cameron Thayer confront the police. Anthony rethinks the way he has viewed life because of Cameron’s words “You embarrass me.
