Animation is the core element to any cartoon or 3D animation. Animation along the years has only been getting better and better as from for example the first toy story movie was a major success in 3D animation, but it all followed the same principal as any other which is doing it by key frames and its like an optical illusion for it requires several still images one after the other rapidly played through. Through the assessment I will be thoroughly taking you through what exactly animation is.
Animation before Walt Disney was very old fashion and yet still quite technical for example the phenakitstoscope is a set of two disks mounted on the same axis the first circle containing slots around the edge and the second having pictures drawn in a concentric circle how it would work is by whilst spinning the two circles together, if looked into by a mirror the images should successfully progress one after the other as if it was a moving picture. The success of the phenakitstoscope was short lived after 2 years for a man named William George Horner invented the zoetrope which had two improvements to it, one being it did not require a mirror anymore and two being more then one person could view it. Another similar invention known as the kinetoscope was similar to the phenakitstoscope for it still allowed people to see moving pictures , although the invention was not a success it inspired other inventors ad was considered a landmark in the history of film.

...ng better and better , with more featured films to come out with mixed CGI , it seems we will only get to see better , Walt Disney and Pixar Movies only doing better by the year. And yet to add many movies now day, you may not even realize that 3D animation has been done in the movie and it will all look only to real for you.
In conclusion to all this in the future I can see only improvement as technology itself is improving. Things such as virtual worlds will come into place soon enough, where the person will himself be able to control a 3D object wearing some possible device, the Nintendo Wii being an example.

Walt Disney rose up from humble beginnings. His childhood was anything but stable as his family moved throughout the Midwest because of his father’s work. Although his strings of early letdowns made it seem like success would never come, Walt Disney became highly successful in animation. During the 1930’s, Disney became determined to create a feature length animated film. Although many told him he would not be able to produce an animated cartoon that would hold an audience beyond seven minutes long, he continued to try. “Only a few years later, in 1938, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was a major success.” (Source 1) Walt Disney created seven noticeably individual personalities, something that had never before been accomplished in animation. Following this film came a steady flow of animated features including Dumbo, Bambi, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and 101 Dalmatians. But animation was not the only thing that helped Walt Disney become a big hit. He dreamed of having a park in which would not contain the menace of carnival freaks, barkers and thrill rides. Thus begins the start of one of the most revolutionary companies ever in the art of animated cartoon features. The Walt Disney Company would soon take it’s feet as Mickey Mouse features incorporated the first picture and sound films of it’s time. Walt’s journey through life led him to take on a new found love for animation where he wanted to better it so that all sorts of families could enjoy motion pictures. From his influences in the theatres as a child, to his new ideas on how to improve animation, Walt began shaping the way animated cartoons functioned. From 1928 to The Walt Disney Company’s current operation, the success of one mouse has put Walt Disney into the history books as one of the most prominent managerial leaders of our time.
In America one of the first popular achievements in animation was the Disney production of a short seven minute animation called Steamboat Willie in 1928, which was the first animated show to feature sound synced to the animation. The show also featured the soon to be famous Mickey Mouse, who would grow to be one of the most well known trademark figures of American animation. During the time of WWII many animated shows, which were now called cartoons, were shown in theaters as a kind of break from the troubles of the real world, which was now facing war and the Depression. The cartoons during the time were comic and featured a lot of slapstick comedy.

The whole in Chapter 2 is a critical literature review. In this chapter, it discussed on the VR and types of VR. In addition, it also discussed on the AR area include components, display, issues, definition, differential VR and VR. This also covered that cognitive development theory, learning theory, and learing style. All reviews are followed with the implication for each topic to this study.
When walking through an art museum, there are rarely paintings of caricatures on display. Though some artists have developed avant guarde or impressionist styles, these are not considered cartoons for the simple fact that they never were displayed on the silver screen. Yet paintings of Disney characters sell for thousands at auction if they are authentic. Disney separates itself from other animation studios with their signature style and tedious techniques, like traditional artists. Since Disney has been making animated films for years, it has become a huge part of American culture. Many people even classify the older, hand-drawn films to be moving works of art. On the other hand, animated TV shows from Japan known as Anime, are not considered to be works of art. Often starting as a comic like sterilization known as manga, anime has captured the hearts of millions of viewers. Like any art form, there are a variety of styles to choose from; ranging from breathtaking to humorous. Like the renaissance painters or even Disney, Anime itself has shared many of the same traits. However, the world over dismisses it as a childish pastime, rather than the art form that it is. Both Anime and Art are a culmination of style, cultural representation, and emotional expression.
Animation, like any other creative art, requires a successful animator to be: patient, talented, disciplined, and willing to work hard. Among the term animation are subcategories such as: character and effects. Character animation is the hardest, in that is requires the most skill. The animator must have a critical eye for every detail that goes into the final project. Character animation can also be broken up into its own subcategories such as: 2D, 3D, traditional, stop motion, and motion graphics. However, 2D and 3D are the most commonly pursued. Regardless if the project is generated by hand or by computer, the overall goal of the animator is to entertain. The animator must have both a clear concept of how to entertain the audience, and
Computer Graphics is the bond between humans and computers. Computer graphics is a large field that branches into almost all fields of computer science; however its roots are young. Computer graphics has massively grown over the past 40 years and is now our primary means of communication with computer applications. Do to technological limitations in the 1950s, computer graphics began as a small, specialized field. The Whirlwind project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is marked as the origin of computer graphics (Machover 14).
Animations are a series of drawings, computer graphics, or photographs of objects, like puppets and models, which are different from each to create a variety of entertainment for the audiences. Animations are what brings excitement and mystery, hooking the audience in through interest. It is a form of some sort of “magic” where things that aren’t real but from the imagination comes to life in front of people who live these mundane, ordinary lives, adding color to the eyes and mind. The creators of such amazing arts and creation are animators.
