Love and Joy are two of the emotions humans take for granted until we experience fear, isolation, pain, and loneliness. What would happen if you were forced to feel these life altering emotions everyday? Animals who are used for testing are the ones experiencing those emotions. One million innocent animals ranging from mice to monkeys are being forced to be tested on right now, for many different companies. Animals are left to die after being brutally tortured, burned, force fed chemicals and much more. This leaves animals traumatized for the rest of their life. Studies have proven that animals feel every emotion when they are being tortured, just as humans would. The problem is, they cannot talk and many people are not listening to …show more content…

One way to help animals is to refuse to buy cosmetics and or products that test on animals, and boycott the charities that do support it. You can also urge the Government to give the money wasted on animal research to companies that do studies on non animal research and donate to organizations to raise money to protect animals. There should also be more laws and acts for the rights of Animals. The Animal Welfare Act, enforced in 1996, helps some animals, but not all. The United States is one of the two countries who test on primates. This needs to be fixed. Taking action will help make animal testing illegal. Innocent animals should not have to deal with what we put them through for our expense. These animals should live their life rather than humans taking it away from them. As Gandhi once stated, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” The cruel experiments that humans put animals through everyday is inhumane and needs to be stopped before we kill more. If you act, you could save these animals lives from being stolen from their mothers, burned, subjected to crippling surgeries, infected with virus, blown up, crushed and traumatized for their life. But if you do not help, I guess it does not matter because they are just animals...
