Tale of The Russian Revolution In The Book Animal Farm Animal Farm is a representation of the Russian Revolution using animals as the people that were in it. The book uses animals to represent roles which are Napoleon as Joseph Stalin, Snowball as Leon Trotsky, and old major as Vladimir Lenin. Animal farm is a fairy tale, but Orwell used to talk about reality and the way he sees or knows what was going on at that time in his life.
Orwell picks Animal farm his own tale of an animal rebellion against humans, the pigs become the high-class of society. In this case the person telling the story is clear on what he's trying to talk about in the book animal farm, so the readers can know a good amount of what's going on. After Muriel tells clover that the fourth commandment of Animalism says, “No animal shelter sleep in a bed with sheets”, the narrator means; “Interested enough, clover had not remembered that the fourth Commandment mentioned sheets; but it was there on the wall. The objective was really crazy. It's even more worrisome when we noticed that the throat tearing is a metaphorical way of saying how people were forced to be silent and make confessions. Then accomplished exiled afterwards. Orwell was one of the greatest essayists of his time. He easily could have written a tract denouncing the west involvement with Stalin and the communist Russian state but he decided to write a “Fairy Tale”. Orwell really went deep with his characters like the pigs and the horses. The pigs were a big part of the whole story because they were the high-class animals at the Animal Farm. Old major was one of the five pigs. He was the one pic that inspires all the other animals to rebel against the humans. Old major is based on Kari Marx and Vladimir Lenin, the communist leader of the Russian Revolution. Squealer was another pig that stood out. Squealer is Napoleon's public speaker.
