In George Orwell historical novel, Animal Farm, satires the Russian Revolution that power corrupts individuals. Orwell recollected major events during his past experience of the Russian Revolution in a novel, Animal Farm. Notably, when Orwell created,” a farm society of animals at the end of World War II during a period of authoritarian power and government propaganda”(Turley). This novel reflects events during the Russian Revolution. He uses the novel as a reference for people to be wary of the corruption in governments in order to persuade people that power is too baneful to be controlled. As we know the novel, Animal Farm, displays a variety of farm animals and each of them play an important role. The animal pig symbolized the corrupt rich upper class as they strive for power.
