Angelina Jolie Autobiography On a sunny day in Los Angeles, California on June 4 , 1975 an actress named Angelina Jolie was born. Angelina was born to an actor named Jon Voight who was well known for his role in “Coming Home” and an actress Marcheline Betrand. Angelina was the youngest of her siblings , she had an older brother named James Haven. When Angelina was two her parents split and she moved to Palisades, New York with her mother and brother.

While growing up money was tight ,but her mom always tried to take her and James to the movies as often as she could. The family outings to the movies were what inspired Angelina to become an actress. Five years later her family moved back to Los Angeles where she attended Lee Strasberg Theatre

& Mrs. Smith” where she met her now husband Brad Pitt.They started dating during the making of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. In 2005 Angelina adopted her second child from Abada , Ethiopia. Zahara was believed to be an AIDS orphan , her family left her when she became ill. The adoption was finalized on July 6, 2005. Brad Pitt adopted Angelina’s children on January 19 , 2006 and changed their surname to Jolie-Pitt. Angelina and Brad confirmed they were expecting a child on January 2006. The baby girl Shiolh Nouvel was born in Swakopmund, Namibia on May 27 , 2006. Jolie adopted her 4th child a boy named Pax Thien on February 21, 2008. Pax was an orphan from Vietnam. Jolie had twins, a boy and a girl, on July 12, 2008, they were born in Nice, France. Their names were Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.

Angelina Jolie is well known for her Humanitarian work. In August of 2002, she was awarded the inaugural Humanitarian Award from the Church World Service’s Immigration and Refugee Program. In October of 2003 she was the first person to get the Citizen Of The World Award by the United Nations Correspondents Association. Angelina was given the Global Humanitarian Award by the UNA-USA in October 2005.
