Recommended: Ancient Greeks views of their gods

Have you ever wondered about the Greek gods or any god did or what happened to them? Many gods were created to control a different part of natural happenings. They had these gods because they had no other way to explain what happened like sea storms. They also were worshiped by many people because they thought what they were in charge of like sea would get mad. So a great amount of people rarely forgot to worship them. So many gods had really important roles back then, now it is explained to happen and these people are not needed but were interesting.
Paragraph 2: Family Hera had a very large and unique family including her parents, siblings, husband, and children. First, Hera’s parents were named CRONIS, and Rhea, and they had power but …show more content…

First, Hera had no childhood because she was swallowed by her dad when she was very young. Also, before she was swallowed she was living in the Titan Ocean, but remembered little about it. She also had power before she married Zeus but she earned more power then. After her marriage she became the Queen of Gods, and was titled Queen of Heaven. Also, she was always jealous of her husband Zeus because he hit, and cheated on her. To sum up, Hera had a very long and unique history.
Paragraph 4: Symbols and Description Hera had very peaceful symbols and description. First, we can tell that Hera had the traits of being a Queen. Also, her symbols were mostly scared animals. Some of them include Peacock, Cow, and Hawk. She also had liked items including lily flowers, and is pictured as being majestic. Hera also had a resemblance to Ancient Egypt. In conclusion, Hera had a some very peaceful symbols, and appearance.
Paragraph 5: Celebrations Hera had celebrations that were very important back when she lived on in Ancient Greek. She had her own version of the Olympics but for women only. The games were called the Heraia Games, it was only games that women could watch and participate. Unlike the Olympics, no men are allowed in the games.
