Analyzing Ray Bradbury's 'The Veldt'

Ray Bradbury made a future realistic story. The future story was (The Veldt.) The story takes where these kids in the story loved it so much that they even called their dad by his first name. They loved the nursery so much that they changed the nursery so their parents won’t know that they have been staying on Africa. That they change it to Africa. The lions in Africa didn’t attack the kids but they attacked the parents. I think that the theme to the story is never trust kids with technology. One piece of evidence to support this theme it is on page 4 where their dad told it to change it to Aladdin but it didn’t change. This shows that the kids love it that they change it so it would stay at Africa . When the parents went inside the nursery with the kids the daughter changed it quick. The parents wanted to go old fashioned and not have all the technology. The kids didn’t like it so they tricked their parents . For another example on page 5. That the kids love it because they change it so their parents doesn’t know. The daughter ran to the nursery and changed it as fast as she can. The parents didn’t believe that they could change it. “Daddy, Mommy, come quick-quick!”When the parents got to the nursery. When the parents got in their the kids were not in there. Then they saw the lions and the lions was going after them. When the lions got to them. All you could hear form the parents was their screams. This connects to the theme because this shows that the kids are untrustworthy. The kids ended up killing their parents and when they did that they just messed up their future, therefore, they would have to live in the house alone if no one finds out. You should never trust kids because they will do anything the way they want to do it because they will try anything to get their way. The
