College Athletes should be compensated because most students are dropping out of school due to money problems. “50% of division 1 football players graduate well 40% of men’s basketball players graduate” (National College Players Association 1 and 2). This means that a lot of players fail school or dropout right after the football season is over. Most players can’t support themselves which causes them to drop out and some players come from finically weak families which causes them to leave school and sports. Players Drop-out from school because most of them can’t afford the college that they attend (McCormack 2).
