The SWOT analysis (alternatively referred to as SWOT Matrix) is an extremely useful tool for understanding and decision-making for all sorts of situations in business and organizations (Bryman& Bell, 2011). The analysis will help better visualize and present the factors concerning affiliate marketing by arranging them in the right category (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities or Threats). The analysis will guide us to identify the positives and negatives inside the organization (S-W) and outside of it, in the external environment (O-T). Developing a full awareness of the situation with affiliate marketing and both the strategic planning and decision-making.
