The Roman Forum, distinguished following the wake of the Roman Republic was the ideal public square. The Greeks and Romans embarked on creating innovative ways to produce beauty. Within the process of generating magnificence, they impacted the future. As time persisted, history did not vanish but lived on within the architectural forms and designs. Without the beauty of the past, the beauty of today would be meaningless.
I believe the Greek architects with its development came into existence before Roman civilization. Therefore, the Roman civilization took some features from Greek architecture when they started building. Greek architects provided some of the best and most typical buildings in the Ancient World. Some of their constructions, such as temples, theatres, and stadia, would become primary features of towns and municipalities from ancient times forward. In addition, the Greek was alarmed with simplicity, quantity, perception, and synchronization in their buildings that would go on to significantly impacting architects in the Roman world.
These things all show how Greeks believed that Zeus was masculine, but why does this make them believe that he was the most important? It may not be popular knowledge, but in ancient Greek culture, masculinity and power were highly respected and desired traits. In fact, masculinity was of such a high value in ancient Greece that it is still influential in the culture today. This proves just how influential masculinity was to these people; over a thousand of years later, the culture still has the same ideals because of how strongly imbedded it was in the culture that long ago. This same thing goes for power.
Pericles did this to secure high value of Athenian citizenship. However, the Athenians understood that citizenship in Athens is a privilege.
