Religulous analysis
Bill Maher; an American actor, comedian and political commentator travels around the world looking for religious locations that represent the holy faith of Christianity, Judaism, Islam and so on. In his expedition to finding answers to his questions, he reveals his expressions of doubt in religion. As Maher quotes “Doubt is humble, and that’s what man needs to be, considering that human history is just a litany of getting shit dead wrong” (Maher) it shows his real attitude towards different religions. He could have made better dispute over the bible but was unable to do so. Nether less, we all have to get the idea that no religion is perfect nor the people believing in different gods. They may be true or maybe not. But who knows? In the end of the day, we all have to live together as one and question our reason to live. But for now, is it better to judge someone’s religion because of the lack of evidence or attack them because you want to know why you are here. After all, one’s person beliefs is their own and not another’s. For it gives them faith, hope and someone to lead them on choosing different paths.
