Recommended: Lincoln's wife Mary Todd

The documentary of First Ladies: North & South is a comparison of two presidential wives and their lives both during their husbands terms as president and after they both had passed away. While much is known of these ladies husbands and the contributions they have made, both good and bad, there is little taught on the impact these ladies made in both the North and South. I have always been fascinated by Presidnet Lincoln and his life although I have never thought about the connection of his wife through his political asperations. I am interested to see how they interact with the leadership of her husband.
Both women are married to promident men who became president, one of the South and one of the North. Both women face happy times,
