Daily Health In the article “Don’t Blame the Eater” by David Zinczenko, he had said, “But most of the teenagers who live, as I once did, on a fast-food diet won’t turn their lives around: They’ve crossed under the golden arches to a likely fate of lifetime obesity.” This part of the article was talking about how once teenagers get in the habit of always eating fast food, that it is very hard to break that pattern. Although healthy foods can be found, many people are making poor choices because they would rather have something cheap and easy. Most of the time people don’t need to be on a certain diet they can mix them, instead of cutting carbs out they can still eat those but in proportion. Another option is they can count calories, and increase the amount of exercise each week so they would be challenging theirs bodies. know how to get into better shape because they might not be able to get the fruits and vegetables they need. Also most people now eat at least 500-800 more calories than actually needed and considering that exercise is lessening more people just consume more calories than they actually work off. Most of the time obesity does lead to other health problems that could be irreversible such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease (CVD), and other serious comorbid conditions. Once these diseases start developing, most people try to get fit to prevent them, which sometimes it works but when diabetes has set in it will never go away. Another thing is how obesity can be hereditary, say your mom had diabetes and was obese. Then decided to have a child, and since she had these problems there is a big chance that you could have diabetes or obesity because of the nutrients that you received in the
