Recommended: Prevention of crimes in school environment

On April 4, 2018 Detectives Napper and Abdalla responded to Anacostia Senior High School and spoke with the Dean of Students Mr. Thomas who advised that after school dismal he Mekhi Hutchinson and Dalonte Jenkins who are Anacostia students were with a third unidentified male who was light complexion wearing a green trench coat. The unidentified male approached a Davon Watts who also attends Anacostia High School. Mr. Thomas and staff members intervened and sent the male on his way along with Mekhi and Dalonte. Mr. Thomas saw the three boys go across the street to 1708 16th Street SE which Mr. Thomas advised is a “trap house” Dalonte and Mekhi then walked towards the bus stop at 16th and Minnesota and back to 1708 16th Street SE.
