Love is one of the most complex feelings a person can have. Over the course of John’s career, he has had many love affairs that have provoked many of his songs. He has had many different relationships that have had different effects on his emotions. After one incident in particular he wrote the song “Shadow Days” produced by himself and Don Was. It was released as a single for digital download on March 6, 2012 and later was a part of the album Born and Raised released May 22, 2012. After the release of the album, the “Shadow Days” music video premiered on Vevo and YouTube April 27, 2012.
