Growing up, I have always wanted to leave my impact on the world and be well known for something. I never knew what but I always knew I wanted to be known for something important. The past 4 years of my life, I have competed in pageants and modeled for various companies, photographers, and designers. I later decided to enter the Miss America Scholarship Pageant Organization, a much more competitive, known, self-growing and opportunity-filled organization. I knew competing in the organization would allow me to impact lives and make my mark I've always wanted to leave on the world in such a positive way. It was. I took that experience to learn about the organization and to know what is expected to be the new state titleholder so I could go back completely mentally and physically ready. This past March, I competed with the preliminary title of Miss Tipton County's Teen Princess 2015. The months leading up to the pageant, I devoted my time to travel to Nashville, Union City, and Memphis every weekend for walking, interview, and fitness training. The month before the pageant, I started to doubt myself. There were so many negative opinions, comments, and predictions on social media. I stopped believing in myself and doubted that I had what it took to be the next Miss Tennessee Titleholder. The week of the pageant, I slowly gained my confidence back. I used the negativity as motivation to prove people wrong. I knew I had to believe in myself and have confidence or it would show that I didn't in my speaking and my onstage presence. The day of the pageant, I felt like it was finally my time to show off all of my hard work and dedication.
