If you were to make 24,000 dollars a year, and have no health insurance your premiums would be brought down to below 7% of your income. If you were to have in accident your out-of-pocket could be 5,200 dollars.
However, many taxpayers, newspapers journalists, and other political organizations are claiming that this new bill is causing a crisis across America. There are many different perspectives a person can take when scrutinizing Obamacare, but it would be wrong to judge the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act until thoroughly researching and critically analyzing the bill’s purpose, content, and the affects it can have on the individual, a community, and the nation as a whole. Lastly with the government in charge of the entire health care system there will be prohibition on basic American rights such as patient confidentiality, and what lengths doctors can take to save a person’s life. While the idea of free health care sounds helpful for many Americans, one must look at the fine print on the page. The job market would be negatively affected by free health. In the First House Bill, HR 3200, Pg 127, lines 1-16 dictates doctors’ payment and income and will reduce what doctors earn, leading to greater shortages of doctors and more rationing of care. Pg 241, line 6-8 mandates that all doctors receive the same pay, regardless of specialty.
