It is a very daunting question that looms over many Americans. “What does our future hold?” is the frequently asked question. When people are faced with this question, there is a lot of uncertainty. Many people do not know how to answer. Despite what many might think, America 's future is well known across hundreds of nations all over the world. America 's future has actually been a question people have asked since the beginning of this great nation and has a very important meaning in the lives of many. There are many factors that will affect the United States future. These factors include culture and education, economy, resource management, politics, and protection of freedoms. Generally, America 's future would be thought to have no effect on our economic situation, but there are in fact some effects. Since the market crash in 2008, the U.S economy has slowly recovered. Today, the United States of America is still the world 's largest overall economy, representing 22.4% of global GDP and 16.6% of global GDP (PPP). The United States ' GDP was estimated to be $17.555 trillion as of 2014. The United States also has a labor force of 156.397 million. The U.S has also now become a primary producer and distributor of oil, which provides our nation with jobs and billions of dollars, but will this new position of strength will be nowhere to reverse the 18 trillion dollar debt we are facing? It would be safe to say that America 's future plays an important role in American economics and shouldn 't be taken for granted. Every single person involved with the government has a say in our nation’s future. That being said, so do our people. One thing that must improve is our voter turnout in elections. If people want their voices to be heard, voting is the best option available. Everything that happens in politics shapes our future. The ability of the Supreme Court to review and define the Constitution and its amendments is an integral part of our future. As is protecting our civil liberties, which both of these go hand in hand. The political factor also coincides with the cultural factor. Today, we see things get very heated between different Parties and candidates. If this problem is not solved, it could be very detrimental to the United States’ future. What America truly needs is a strong, visionary leader that believes in limited government, personal freedoms and the overall greatness of American ingenuity and Can-Do spirit. Somebody that the American people can rely on to give us hope and to fight for what is right in this nation.
