Long ago there was a kingdom unknown to the modern age. It was a time where magic existed and the earth was nothing but joy. The lands were lush, the oceans were pure. It was a paradise! Everyone lived in serenity, there is no other time or kingdom like this. This is where people wanted to live, this place was amazing! The rulers of this kingdom was King Orion, Queen Artemis and their son Carter, they were not selfish people, and they were genuine kind people with warm smiles. And eyes filled with emotions and twinkles. Each royal family had powers and their powers would differ from kingdoms and family lines. Most courts stayed away from each other, never has two kingdoms came together and produce an offspring. That was until King Orion and Queen Artemis met, their son Carter was powerful everyone wanted his power. He could be their salvation or destruction!
It was a big day for Prince Carter, he would spend a whole day with his parents today. This was big for him, his parents were very busy. Controlling two kingdoms was not easy. He had only a few friends because he wasn’t aloud outside the palace without supervision. So any time he could be with his parents he took, but none the less Prince Carter was happy. He always had his two advisors, Ophelia and Marcus. Once the little boy got off his bed, got dressed and met up with his parents. It was finally time for them to head to town for the carnival. Once the small family had arrived, the young prince had been enjoying his time at the carnival. He won many prizes, he had never had so much fun before. But something seemed fishy about the two noble adults. Their large smiles would instantly fall off ,once future plans were brought up. Sometimes he would see them secretly talking to...

And that did it Carter went back to his old self… his true self! The people were once again in serenity and the earth was lush once more. Peace was no longer a dream it was reality. And there was no one else to thank then the late king and queen. Hopefully King Carter and his wife will be just as good!
Today was the annual carnival. Erin decided to tag along With King Carter and His wife Melody. A bunch of girls would giggle every time he came near them. Erin would turn beet red and it would worsen when the king would say. “You’ll get used to it, sooner or late you will want their attention." King carter took notice into the quiet girl they just passed … he swore she looked just like his mother!
“Well-Well, it was the holidays, which I mentioned.” She gulped a shallow breath and her eyes met the floor again. “I was home alone-Well, Jordan was here, but she hadn’t paid a glance of attention to me. She was in a rush to find her clubs, cigarettes, and some trousers for when her tournament would begin. And, I suppose all the servants were here as well, they play a bit of a key to the story…” Her breath turned shallow again when she finally looked me in the eyes. “I saw a… darker servant walk by, and he held a note in his hand. He rushed by me like he was running from a bee, and I stopped him. I asked ‘what is
It was a sunny day with a sweet aroma of blooming tulips. The sunlight glittered on their faces as the breeze rattled the chestnut tree above. There was an occasional giggle as they talked, but there was also a hint of discomfort and awkwardness between them as they peeked at each other’s face and recoiled when the other looked up. When the bell rang twice, I saw them say goodbye and walk away from each other. In the darkness of the crowd, a glimmer flashed into my eyes from Hannah’s cheeks.

After Finn explains Philip Flowers’ attempt to corrupt Melanie, she asks herself, “What if Uncle Philip of the iron fists is not my mother’s brother at all?” Here, she questions not only Uncle Philip, but also the integrity of the entirety of The Magic Toyshop. In doing so, Angela Carter highlights the boundary between reality, defined as “the quality of being real or having an actual existence,” and fantasy, defined as “a product of imagination, fiction, figment.” Throughout the novel, Carter explores the various, intertwined layers of reality and fantasy until the two become indistinguishable. First, Carter exposes multiple characters’ individual, frequently escapist, fantasies. Then, she presents collective reality and fantasy, exemplified by her metaphoric, uncanny prose and the fantastical world of Philip’s toyshop. Furthermore, she subverts the classic fairytale through grotesque, hyperbolic descriptions of Philip and allusions to the aforementioned fairytales and other works. By the end of the novel, both Melanie and the reader are unable to distinguish between fantasy and reality.

Currently, it is April 23, 2015, there is still no leader. Until a maid of the former queen found a bloodline to a rebellious, reckless teenager me, Toni. I am the heir of the kingdom. Before they addressed me, they have to keep it as a secret from the people.
“It was a large, beautiful room, rich and picturesque in the soft, dim light which the maid had turned low. She went and stood at an open window and looked out upon the deep tangle of the garden below. All the mystery and witchery of the night seemed to have gathered there amid the perfumes and the dusky and tortuous outlines of flowers and foliage. She was seeking herself and finding herself in just such sweet half-darkness which met her moods. But the voices were not soothing that came to her from the darkness and the sky above and the stars. They jeered and sounded mourning notes without promise, devoid even of hope. She turned back into the room and began to walk to and fro, down its whole length, without stopping, without resting. She carried in her hands a thin handkerchief, which she tore into ribbons, rolled into a ball, and flung from her. Once she stopped, and taking off her wedding ring, flung it upon the carpet. When she saw it lying there she stamped her heel upon it, striving to crush it. But her small boot heel did not make an indenture, not a mark upon the glittering circlet.
When Frankie(Frances) got to their home they were amazed. It looks so beautiful, an open field, trees, and a big house. What’s not to love! But, they still missed mom. They later had a feast with the neibours and when they were cleaning up, Frances(Frankie), almost got caught. She was washing the dishes very good and a woman said “I have never seen a male do a woman’s job so well!” She(He) responded “I say it doesn’t matter the gender, as long as it’s done right.” That lady then said Frances is a soft boy to someone else and smiled. He(She) had to be more careful. A few
When he arrived at the home the servant who took his hoarse and directed him to the room that Mr. Usher was in greeted him. Inside the house was also very ornate, but it to had also been left alone for to long. The entire house had a gloomy atmosphere that would put a chill down most people’s spines. When he entered the room his friend was staying in he was warmly welcomed. He could not believe the changes that his dear childhood friend had endured.
Lance Carter was undoubtedly Rose’s favorite mystery. He was alway a man that decided for himself who he was going to be. Impossibly hard to read and extremely well off in every department that mattered (to him, at least), his spontaneity was the only characteristic of his personality that never completely altered. The number of feelings he expressed with every bright eyed gaze, drew people towards him. But no one saw every side of his multifaceted personality. At every moment he was something, but also the exact contradiction. A real life version of Pandora’s box. Every answer he gave always held some sort of ambiguity, but his actions more often decided his opinions than his countless words.
The small legs that whisked back and forth in the open space of the vehicle were full of energy. The young girl spent the day with the two people she admired the most. A bigger version of herself sat in the passenger seat with her husband driving next to her. They laughed over conversation. Every so often, the girl would stick thin fingers against her mother’s shoulder to receive her attention. She would say something trivial and obvious, but her mother would still entertain her. She absorbed every phrase her daughter said as if each filled her with a tremendous joy and was the greatest thing ever spoken. Her mother had selected a black dress for her today with a large white ribbon tied around her midsection. Her hair had been combed back in two braids so that the tips were touching her shoulder blades. They were coming home late from a Christmas party at church.
In D. H. Lawrence’s “The Rocking-horse Winner,” Paul, a kind-hearted young boy with strange blue eyes, is betrayed by two people who should have loved and protected him. Paul’s uncle, Oscar Cresswell is portrayed as a very wealthy man, who takes advantage of his nephew’s ability and makes money for himself. Paul’s mother, Hester is described as someone who is not happy with what she was. She does not love Paul enough. The two characters, Oscar Cresswell and Hester, both betray Paul for their own good.
The characters in this book are very round. They each have their own story and have their own problems in life. Let’s start ...
The tone of The Little Prince is often lonely and fragile-sounding, much like the little prince himself, when he ventures into the world of adults in an attempt to understand them. The writer emphasizes, throughout the story, that loneliness is what isolates the adults rather than children because they are unable to see things with their minds, hearts, and imagination. Both the protagonist (the little prince) and secondary protagonist (the narrator) lead lonely lives because of this isolation due to the differences between the minds of children and adults. "So I lived my life alone, without anyone that I could really talk to," writes the narrator, before his plane crashes in the middle of the Sahara. He explains this in the first few chapters - living his life alone - because this 'world of grownups' does not understand him and wishes for him to talk of their idea of 'sensible' and 'practical' things. This made him very lonely, not so much in a physical sense, but so that he could never really find anyone to relate to. The narrator explains that after flat responses to his imaginative observations to things, "'Then I would never talk to that person about boa constrictors, or primeval forests, or stars. I would bring myself down to his level. I would talk to him about bridge, and gold, and politics, and neckties. And the grown-up would be greatly pleased to have met such a sensible man.'" In one of my magazines is an article called, "Popularity Truths & Lies," where popular girls talk about their social status. In large, red print, it says, "Lie: Popular girls are never left out or lonely." The girls then go on to explain how sometimes, they feel as if they are making so many friends only because of their popularity. They say that it's great to be popular, but difficult to find someone that really wants to befriend them for true qualities rather than social status. The situations between the narrator of The Little Prince and these popular students is that it seems that they would never be isolated (popular students from their admiring peers and the supposedly sensible-minded narrator from the adult world) - physically, at least - but inside the kind of friend they are really longing for is someone to understand and honestly talk to in order to end the abstract barriers between these worlds of people.
