Steve Jobs and Bill Gates
Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are two very important men in the world of technology. Both men had the vision of what a computer and computer languages might be able to advance into. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates both worked/work for exceptionally important companies. Bill Gates is still alive, but sadly Steve Jobs passed away on October 5, 2011.
Steve Jobs’ complete name was Steven Paul Jobs. He was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California. He was raised into an adoptive family. Jobs’ was raised in a humble and economically poor environment. His adoptive parents were Paul and Clara Jobs. Paul would show Steve how to take apart and reconstruct electronics. It was a hobby, which made Steve strive with confidence, tenacity and mechanical skill.
Bill Gates’ complete name is William Henry Gates III. Gates was born on October 28, 1995. Gates’ was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Gates’ parents were William and Mary Gates. William was an accountant. Mary was a teacher not many years. Bill Gates has two sisters. An older sister named Kristi and a younger sister named Libby.
Steve attended Homestead High School, where he met Steve Wozniak. Wazniak was later to be co-owner of an industry company later called Apple. Steve graduated Homestead high school in 1972. Jobs attended Reed College in Oregon for two years. “He dropped out after one semester to visit India and study eastern religions in the summer of 1974.”

As the years went by he appeared more and thinner, and suspicion arise that Steve Jobs was once again sick. In order to calm down the fears and premonitions that were ripping through the people's mind he appears in an Invite-only event in which he claimed that his thinness was due to a hormonic unbalance. Then he died.

Steve Jobs and his friend Wozniak started to create their very first computer, and it came out a lot better than what they thought it was going to be. With very little education, the first computer that came out was extraordinary. “It was the first single-board computer with built-in circuitry allowing for direct video interface, along with a central ROM, which allowed it to load programs from an external source” (“Steve P. He was born with a long family history of business, politics and community services. His grand father was the vice president of a national bank, and his father was a prominent lawyer. Early in life it was obvious that Bill Gates inherited the ambition, intelligence and competitive spirits that helped the rest of his family rise to the top in their chosen professions. In elementary school he quickly surpassed all of his peer's abilities in nearly all subjects, especially in math and science. His parents recognized his intelligence and decided to enroll him in Lakeside, a private school known for its intense academic environment.

Steve Jobs has become one of the most successful and creative men in the 21st century. He has not only lead a company who has changed the face of cell phones forever, but will always be remembered as such an intelligent man. Steve was born on February of 1995, in San Francisco, California. His biological parents Joanne and John, both University of Wisconsin graduates, gave him up for adoption unnamed.
Steve Jobs was born on Feburary 24, 1995 in Green Bay Wisconsin. His biological mother put him up for adaptation, because she could not care for him and give him a good child hood. She requested that her son to be placed with a well-educated family. When Steve Jobs was growing up he Didn’t have any friends so he wandered to neighbors garages looking to learn more about electronics because a lot of them were engineers. Steve jobs liked fiddling with electronics so much that he spent his time after school at the packyard electronics company learning more in depth about how to make electronic devices. Steve jobs had a hard time focusing in class. Until his fourth grade teacher found a way to get him to focus in class it was by bribing him to do his work. That worked so well that the school recommended him to skip fifth grade and go straight to junior high. His fortunate life started after Gates enrolled in the Lakeside Preparatory School at the age of twelve. “At the age of thirteen Gates began writing his first computer programs and that is when he became friends with Paul Allen.”(Stevenson). While attending Lakeside, Gates and Allen received unlimited use of the facility 's machines like the use of schools computers. It was Steve Jobs who made Apple leave the garage and make leaps and bounds in the world of technology. Steve Wozniak made the first prototype, but it was Jobs who “saw the potential” in his computer and persuaded Wozniak to sell it (Peterson 106). Even though that first computer saw very little success, Jobs knew that Apple had potential and so released the Apple II. From the beginning Jobs knew what the consumers wanted, and where computers were going to take the world; he had a vision of the opportunities in technology and saw that Apple needed to move in a different direction. In 1984, one year before he left, Jobs finished the Macintosh computer system. He was pushed from his original computer design project, “the Lisa”, and then raced to release the Mac first, but the Lisa was released to the public first.
