On November 3 1997 the American broadcast announced that the planet earth was being invaded. The planet earth was being invaded by aliens. They wanted to take over the planet to mind the gold so they can repair there dying home planet atmosphere. Immediately they started to destroy the planet earth. April 19, 1995 at 9:02, in Oklahoma City a bomb exploded; destroying buildings, injuring and killing innocent citizens. Many questions of the city would go unanswered; including who made it, who didn’t, along with who did it and why. All of these citizens deserve answers to the simple questions. The world was in shock and worried about what was going to happen next. This terrorist attack would then be noted as the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil.
September 11, 2001 was a day that Americans and the world for that matter will not soon forget. When two planes went into the twin towers of the World Trade Center and two others went into the Pentagon and a small town in Pennsylvania, the world was rocked. Everyone in the United States felt very vulnerable and unsafe from attacks that might follow. As a result, confidence in the CIA, FBI, and the airlines were shaken. People were scared to fly after what had happened.

Right off the roll in this film, we are thrown right into a scene where K and his partner are going into the dessert to respond to an illegal ‘Alien’ who is trying to cross the border, turns out it’s an actual alien. What tells us that this is an alien is the use of this original sound effect that the sound designer created, it’s hard to describe, but we’ll leave it an alien growl. This leads into an action sequence that ends in the alien being shot and explodes goo everywhere. Keep in mind this has all happened within the first eight minutes, so obviously the director is really trying to throw us into this film, and making us comfortable with what this universe is upfront. Once the scene finished we are shown a black armored truck coming to halt near the scene of the alien and we get a tiny taste of the MIB theme since it is an MIB cleanup crew. Mashing this all together, this creates a perfect atmosphere that the rest of the films are presented
