Cellphones are now the modern way of communication, and it all came from the first telephone. Because of it we are able to talk to a person half way around the world. And it all started with one man his name was Alexander Gram Bell. Alexander was the very first person to created a telephone. Bell combined his knowledge and his interest in the science of sound, he then drew his fondness of music to create this amazing invention. I mean can you imagine how amazing it would of been back then to experience hearing someone from over a mile away through wires. The telephone did not only affect communication it affected travel. It made it easier to get a hold of other people, and basically decreased the use of telegraphs and letters. The invention of the telephone lead to development of city centers, office buildings and the concept of an urban society. The telephone had some bad effects on some people and their way of making money. The telephone decreased the amount of jobs, like messenger boys, and telegraphers. The telephone impacted reading and writing, because of the new way of communication people no longer had to write or read as much. The very first telephone sparked many ideas for many inventors including Thomas Edison, and soon he will improve the telephone.
