As Dan Quayle said, “It isn’t pollution that’s harming the environment. It’s the impurities in our air and water that are doing it.” In today’s society, many people are suffering from lethal diseases such as respiratory complications to lung diseases. Not only the diseases that people are suffering from air pollution, it’s also affecting the natural habitat and animals living in it. In particular, air pollution affects China, India, and Pakistan the most, which causes them to have more severe problems.
Air Pollution, has been a threat to many people living in the third world countries. China is the most populous country in the world. Because of many people living in the country, it’s changed the country economically
All of these factors cannot help but expand more air pollution which heats our globe up rapidly. Another place that has been affected by the air pollution is Pakistan. Pakistan has many air pollutants roaming in its air also indoors. 70% of Pakistan people depend on biomass fuel like the wood, electricity, and kerosene (Colbeck, Nasir, and Ali 1189). Because of these indoor air pollution, the bad health rates in the last 60 years have been high (Colbeck, Nasir, and Ali 1189). In the late 1900s, the maternal mortality rates have been declined from 800 deaths per 100000 and the infant mortality rate has declined from 142 per 1000 live births (Colbeck, Nasir, and Ali 1189). These results tell us that the indoor air pollution and also the outdoor air pollution have been affected by respiratory problems. These problems come because many people in Pakistan are not aware of the air pollution. These respiratory problems mainly occurring amongst women and children are also by indoor smoking. Women spend most of their time cooking by the stove and children by playing outside (Colbeck, Nasir, and Ali 1193). Quetta, one of polluted city, had reached life-threatening situations because of the air pollutions created by vehicles emitting harmful oxidants in the air (Ilyas, Khattak, Nasir, Qurashi, and Durrani 298).Because of the usage of Automobile, which produces O3 (a certain type of chemical Gas) which was caused by photochemical reactions, also have been a major factor, which is having a bad impact on chemical reactions(llyas, Khattak, Nassir, Quarshi, Durrani 291). Also like India, Pakistan also uses biomass fuels
