Despite its potentials, agriculture in South Africa and other countries in Africa is facing a lot of challenges example poverty, rapid industrialization, economic diversification and also hunger is a huge problem in the agricultural sector. South Africa needs to ensure a healthy agricultural industry that contributes to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP), food security, social welfare and job creation. Poverty is one of the challenges facing social welfare. There are people that do not have a home to stay in or a roof over their head and their family, they also do not have anything to eat which means they steal to survive and eventually get caught or die of hunger. To prevent poverty more job opportunities should be available. As South Africa’s agriculture grows more work opportunities become available and people will have more food.
Quality of Education: Gives kids with the comprehension and life characteristics they require to find their full impending, and is important to making change in the kid’s life. Helps by educating teachers building new and good schools. (Online, 2017)
