Living ethnical is not just thinking about ourselves, but putting ourselves in a position of other beings who are affect by our action. God created all creatures as equals, none is more special than the other. All animal testing are inhumane and immoral should be banned period. Animals have no choice in the matter, they are forced into it and often bred for. Reasons are simply because there isn’t any humans who would offer themselves to test for new drugs.
Supporters of animal testing claim that animal testing should be conducted on in a more humane way and the laws says that you have to test a drug on an animals before humans and there is no question about it because that is the law. With the advancements in technology in this era, animals are able experience lesser pain and suffering (American Association for Laboratory Animal Science, n.d.). This is done by practicing the 4 concepts which is replacement, reduction and refinement and the rehabilitation. Replacement also known as comparative substitution is done by replacing living animals with animal cells or tissue culture in an experiment whenever there is a possibility in achieving the same aims. Reduction is practiced by minimizing the number of animals used in animal testing. Refinement is refer to improvements in procedures to assuage potential pain experience by the animals. Rehabilitation is also known as after-care where researchers have a responsibility to look after those animals that had been used in experimentation (National Center for Biotechnology Information, 2013).
Nevertheless, the argument above is weak as animal testing is unethical, immoral and the chances of these animal experiences pain and sufferings is very high. Base on a study done by The British Unio...

This causes animal to experience unbearable pain, suffering and often left to die in laboratory (Animal Laid, n.d.). The Hippocratic Oath that no harm and injustice goes in to animals and shall be kept within their reach. Animals should never be involved with this painful treatment that they do not deserve (Sokol, 2008). Animals deserves to live freely and they have rights too instead of being forced and tortured by human beings. Sadly these poor animal are unable to give their consent for being used as a test subject.
In conclusion, although there is no denying that animal testing can find new cure to save human life, animal testing should never conducted as animal testing is morally wrong and very unethical. This is proof enough that animal testing should be banned by the government.
