If you have entertained the thought of having a medical career, you could not pick a more lucrative or diverse career path to take. Medical students recognize that the health care industry is booming; in fact, it’s number seven out of 20 leading occupations, according to the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics). These days, job security is everything.
Attending a reputable online medical training school is convenient in that you can learn at your own pace, yet it is an accelerated way to earn an accredited degree without the pressures of the classroom. You do not have to struggle to keep up with the masses, nor do you have to wait for other medical career students to catch up with you. Moreover, it is a great deal less expensive to learn on an online medical school, not to mention much less time consuming.
Would You Make a Good Nurse?
Medical school will teach you how to not only a nurse, but also the doctor’s right hand. Through crucial medical training, you will know how to take vital signs, as well as administer the patient’s medications and advise the physician on their patient’s well-being. Some nurses even opt to specialize in emergency meds, obstetrics or anesthesiology. As of 2008, a medical school graduate of nursing’s mid-range salary is about $50,000 to $75,000 yearly, depending on location and experience, of course.
A registered nurse (RN) administers care and medication to patients. They typically oversee the overall care of the patients, under the physician’s direction. They normally are in charge of the licensed practical nurses (LPN) and nursing aides. Depending on geography, experience or type of facility, (hospitals, private care, rest homes) the lowest RNs salary is about $42,000, while the top 10% earners make up to $93,000 annually.
Not Sure About Dealing with Patients?
Medical school training will permit you to follow any avenue you desire, even if it is not necessarily in direct patient care. Many choose instead to be a medical code or billing specialist. You could be a wellness expert, counselor, insurance representative, community liaison, transcriptionist or support staffer. Office positions pay better than you would think also. Office assistants usually maintain patient records and files, take payments, schedule the doctors and his patients, invoice patients and vendors. There is medical training terminology to study before obtaining these positions.

And the MD is also important because they can make diagnosis, treatment and correction, give an advise, or prescript for any human disease, injury, ailment, deformity, infirmity, physical or mental, pain, real or imaginary or other condition.

First I would like to state that any career in a medical field takes a lot of dedication and many hours studying and it is not for everyone. I would also like to say once an individual has made a career out of it the job has long hours and can be very stressful, so I suggest readers to not consider a career in medicine unless you are genuinely interested in the work, and are not in it just for the money.
The road to gaining admission to medical school and becoming a physician is long, difficult, and intensely competitive. Once admitted, however, medical students spend the first two years primarily in laboratories and classrooms learning basic medical sciences. They also learn how to take medical histories, perform complete physical examinations, and recognize symptoms of diseases. During their third and fourth years, the medical students work under supervision at teaching hospitals and clinics. Following medical school, new physicians must complete a year of internship that emphasizes either general medical practice or one specific specialty and provides clinical experience in various hospital services. Physicians then continue in residency training, which lasts an additional three to six years, depending on the specialty. Immediately after residency, they are eligible to take an examination to earn board certification in their chosen specialty. Most traditional specialties include the following: anesthesiologist, cardiologist, dermatologist, family practitioner, gastroenterologist, internist, neurologist, oncologist, pathologist, psychiatrist, pulmonologist, and urologist
A registered nurse needs a minimum of an Associate's of Science Degree in Nursing. A nurse practitioner needs at least a Master's of Science Degree in nursing. Another difference that a registered nurse and nurse practitioner share is the work environment. Nurse practitioners work in private practices and community clinics and registered nurses work in hospitals and surgical settings. The salary is better for a nurse practitioner because, they have more flexible work hours. The salary for a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner varies by state, the highest state that pays nurses well is California. As of 2013, the median annual salary for a nurse practitioner is $92,670, and for a registered nurse it is $65,470; as of 2012. The duties for a registered nurse and nurse practitioner are different as well; a nurse practitioner creates and maintains a healthy lifestyle for the patients and they also prescribe medication for patients just like a doctor. A registered nurse orders and interprets diagnostic tests and they assist physicians with patient examinations and treatments. A nurse practitioner can work without supervision, and a registered nurse has to have supervision at all
