Conventionally, teachers often receive dozens of papers, assignments, and pieces of writing from their students each term. These pieces of paper frequently get ordered (or should I say disorganized) on desks, in brief cases, in filing cabinets, at home, in the office, in the classroom, and so on. The age-old hassle of shuffling, filing, and retrieving these papers is almost elradicated. With the click of a mouse modern e-mail software permits groupings of messages by student name, by date received, or by project name. Writing assignments received can be arranged electronically by any one of these classifications. When learners get in contact with each other using e-mail, their public is likely to focus nearly on the mail itself and not so much on the form, grammar, spelling, mechanics, etc. A last , but not least, wothwhile feature of e-mail is that shy students have a forum for expressing themselves and asking questions.Sometimes, some students who do not like to communicate in a group are likely to do better with writing. Since students often produce more content electronically than with conventional pen-and-pencil practices, timid students often tend to reveal their opinions more overtly without fear. This can give students self-reliance and finally enhance their writing ability.
-Sample e-mail Assignments and Activities We are going to precisely describe some plain e-mail activities that we have used in my third year writing class during a 45-minute session in the lab or over the course of the term. For a number of these assignments and activities explained below we have produced student handouts. Please note that these tasks operate most usefully with software as Eudora, Microsoft mail or programs similar to them them in which the backgrounds are personalized for the user. NCSA Telnet or particular types of communication software cannot handle enormous volumes of incoming or outgoing mail without difficulty.
The decision to monitor e-mail is left to the organization that provides the e-mail service to users. These organizations can range from educational institutions and private corporations, to governments and non-profit organizations. Each of these different types of organizations has a different agenda and goals, not only in general, but also for their members-and more specifically, for their members' e-mail. While educational institutions can provide e-mail facilities to their constituents for the purposes of convenience, employers almost always maintain e-mail facilities for the sole purpose of improving the on-the-job productivity of their employees.

In the essay, “Studies Explore Whether the Internet Makes Better Writers” Josh Keller comments on the education of students by exploring positive and negative effects of Internet experiences with writing. Keller is a reporter for The Chronicle of Higher Education which is a job information source for college and university associates. Keller’s examination of internet use reflects students, teachers of English, scholars, and adults of education. Some scholars agree colleges should bring lessons from writing in classrooms, and likewise feel the writing is more connected with the audience. However, others suggest tweets and blog post administers dissatisfactory writing traditions. Some of the reasons
Two reasons that professors consider emails to be like letters rather than text messages is because the way of the writing in the email it needs to be more formally and more faithful adherence. New technologies are allowing us to do things faster, easier, and more efficiently than ever before. Almost every new innovation in technology improves the speed and productivity of any task at hand. Electronic mail (E-mail) is possibly one of the greatest things to happen to the world. Despite this, there are people who find difficulties in using either E-mail or conventional mail. To help decide whether to use E-mail or the United States postal Service, a comparison of each one’s speed, ease of use, reliability, and cost is a helping factor.

Outlook has been the most popular tool for organizing business and communications for over ten years. If a person learns to use it effectively, it can significantly reduce their daily workload. It was designed to make organizing daily information easy. Outlook pulls together everything necessary for daily tasks, appointments, emails, and other details. More importantly, it enables a person to use the same program to deal with many different kinds of information. It is only necessary to deal with one program for the many different situations, such as finding a customer’s phone number, remembering an important meeting, planning tasks for the day and checking them off after they have been accomplished. Outlook also enables someone to record all the work they've done, so they can find what they did and exactly when it was done. Microsoft...
Email is quite possibly the most important computer application ever created. Even the most primitive of computer systems comes with access to email. The most novice computer users know how to send and receive email and the slowest Internet provider will get a user to an email server. As the first major computer application, email is a huge part of daily life, communicating between students and teachers, doctors and patients. It can travel across offices, cities, countries, even over oceans. As the inventor of email, Raymond Tomlinson has significantly affected life for all those living in the 20th and 21st centuries and therefore should be remembered and written about just as much as any other major inventor in past history.
When smallish organizations rely on e-mail to keep members up-to-date on the latest news and activities, problems immediately arise when one simple message generates many responses. As members respond to the replies, the discussion quickly turns into a disorganized mess that's impossible to follow.
One of the strengths of electronic communications media is that it costs virtually nothing to send a message. These media are not free of charge: setting up a cellular telephone network or an Internet e-mail service has substantial overhead costs in equipment and connectivity. However, once these costs are paid for, the cost to transmit a message to a single recipient is minuscule when compared with older media such as postal mail. Electronic messaging is cheap and fast. It is also easy to automate: computer programs can send out millions of messages via e-mail, instant message (IM), or Usenet netnews in minutes or hours at nearly no labor cost.
The user base of the Internet and World Wide Web grows by millions of users each year. In recent years this has created an explosion in the number of Internet email accounts and addresses. Companies such as Microsoft, Yahoo and Netscape have made free email accounts available for the world to use. Many people have multiple email accounts on the web, in addition to those that they may have for business purposes.
Along with using the World Wide Web for researching purposes, e-mail has become a very commonly used feature. Students and teachers can communicate outside of the classroom any time of day. In addition, this also opens up the idea of an online community center.
