Advanced Export Marketing
ADVANCED EXPORT MARKETING
MAJOR ASSIGNMENT
There are already many federal programs that assist exporters in various ways including Progam for Export Market Development (P.E.M.D.), Canadian
International Development Association (C.I.D.A.) and Canadian Commercial
Corporations (C.C.C.). These programs help exporters secure and enhance access for Canadian goods and services in world markets. They also strengthen Canada's international marketing effectiveness and help promote awareness of export markets and opportunities. These exporting programs also promote Canada's economic, political, security and other interests, both bilaterally and through international institutions. They advise the government on international developments and on the international implications on the domestic policies.
There is alot of help out there for exporters but new programs should be introduced and old programs should be updated. I will introduce a new program where anybody can apply for help in exporting which will be called " A FOOT
AHEAD "(A.F.A.). A.F.A. will be fully examined and explained in the following report and Iwill also show some very interesting improvements to the existing government exporting program called P.E.M.D.
A FOOT AHEAD (A.F.A)
There are many problems facing Canadian companies in gaining export competiveness. A.F.A. wants to reduce these problems and make it much easier for the exporters to crack the foreign markets. These problems consist of:
1) Lack of market analysis
2) Lack of market strategy
3) Pricing problems - Labour
- Transportation cost
- Economics of scale
- Outdated manufacturing facilities
4) Distance from market (serviceability aspects)
5) Lack of management initiative
(no long range plans - lack of know how)
6) Subsidiary relations
(affects marketing and research and development)
7) Risk takers - lack of - (companies and banks)
A.F.A. knows these problems exist and wants to take care of them for the exporter who may be to confused and/or unsure of themself to become involved in foreign investment.
A.F.A. consists of 7 graduates from the Sir Sanford Fleming College
International Trade Program. Each of its staff are fully capable of helping any exporter in the above problems. With the quality of education learned from the profs at Fleming no solution is unatainable.
For each of the above problems, people will be assigned to fully understand the exporters situation and apply there capabilities in helping them out. The first employee, we will refer to him as Das Fut, will be responsible for finding business's that look as though they are capable of creating a profit from exporting there service or good that don't already do so. So instead of companies coming to us, we will go looking for them to export. Das Fut will obtain documents (balnce sheets and company profiles) and statistics on domestic markets and if they look promissing he will then suggest back to headquarters
Shelley’s women are objectified, used, abused, and easily discarded. The female monster that the male creature wanted Victor to forge is destroyed before she is ever created. Victor “thought with a sensation of madness… creating another like to him” (Shelley) and “tore to pieces”(Shelley), the existence of a new female monster, taking away her life before she even has the chance to live it. The female monster is characterized as passive, disposable and serving a utilitarian function, providing nothing more but a channel of action of the male characters in the novel. The ruination of the female creature is used by Shelley for the sake of teaching a male character a lesson or sparking an emotion within him, in this case, Frankenstein’s demolition of the creature’s companion
Briefly identify the level of international marketing involvement (see text) of each of these firms. Provide rationale to support your answer.
The U.S. industries have been outsourcing manufacturing for several decades now. U.S. companies thought they were reducing costs by outsourcing development, manufacturing, and process-engineering abilities. Consequently, U.S. corporations’ knowledge, skilled workers, and supply chain, which are the necessities to producing advanced products, have vanished. For example, almost all notebook computers, cell phones, and handheld devices, which were once created in the U.S., are now designed in Asia. When a major U.S. company outsource, it pressures their rivals to do the same thing. They also lose the expertise of process engineering, which would interact with manufacturing on a daily basis. Minor companies and skilled workers go to where the jobs and knowledge networks are no matter where they are geographically in the world. This decline of trade in the U.S. has caused a negative chain reaction to their suppliers of sophisticated materials, tools, production equipment, and components. U.S. industries do not have a way of coming up with new ideas for the next generation of high-tech products...

After reading “American Higher education in Crisis” by Goldie Blumenstyk, I wanted to bring solutions to the inquiries between the marginal cost of high priced tuition and the marginal benefits from paying those fees to pursuit a Bachelors degree. The purpose of higher education is to open up the minds of incoming high schoolers. The students of higher ed are being introduced to many new subjects and surrounding that it breaks the bubble that secluded them from the real world. And most importantly, it supposedly provides the students with the knowledge and information to find a career of their interest. Unfortunately, not everyone receives what they had expected from attending college and to some it has made them worst off. The cost of tuition is indeed the most dramatic problem that leads to many disputes. And followed by those costs is the amount of debts that people are flooded in that withers the self-proclaimed title of the “importance of education.” Although many people think that if they were attending specialized courses they would be better off, the expectations from corporations have a huge incentive for students to receive a BA. And because of that, many people think that the opportunity cost of attending college is worth it. But, as the years of endless amount of fees such as tuition, living fees, and supplies go by, paying off those fees for those who have not had the
In Frankenstein, Shelley challenges the traditional gender roles taught in society. As a result of becoming egotistical, science-obsessed, the male characters destroy their own love lives through inadequate relationships and irresponsible parenting. By choosing three different narrators which are all male, represent the objectifying treatment towards women. By confining women this representing perfectly women's roles in society in the eighteenth-century. And by representing men as reckless and disruptive when without women, Shelley challenges the powerful male persona.
The hold abruptly released, allowing my blood to stop pounding in my ears. He smiled crookedly, tears gathering at the edges of his eyes. “I can say it now, I’m already dead: all I ever wanted was to be you, Sumati
Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis once wrote, “The interpretation of dreams is the royal road to a knowledge of the unconscious activities of the mind” (Freud 1). This remark appears in Freud’s work named, “The Interpretation of Dreams”. Freud’s comment demonstrates that because dreams are such an unconscious activity, they give a direct intuition into the workings of the senseless mind, meaning that a dream shows a person’s unrestrained feeling that an individual cannot show to others easily. The idea that dreams can give a direct insight into a person’s mind is seen clearly throughout Fyodor Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment. Dostoevsky uses dreams as a symbol to portray the internal conflicts of Raskolnikov through his four dreams.
“Every person in this country who has the desire and ability should be able to get all the education they need regardless of the income of their family. This is not a radical idea” (Better World). The use of biased articles that contain fallacies and rhetorical devices that can distort the viewpoint of the readers, is the main cause of misinformation on many issues happening in the world. On the topic of free tuition, the concern for those opposed to this ideology is “how will it become free” or that there are no benefits of making college free. Those who are for the notion of a free higher education, explain how it will not only benefit students, but families and the economy as well. The issue of free tuition is not a concept of who’s wrong
First of all, colleges can only hold a certain number of students. Once the student number passes that line, they have to make a cut (Redd “Should college be free? Pros, cons, and alternatives”). Because students would have to be cut, free college would only hurt students more than benefit them because of being rejected. Second, because students pay for their own education, they value it more (Redd “Should college be free? Pros, cons, and alternatives”). They are more likely to use it later in life if they pay for it themselves because they know the value of it. They had to save the money and manage the costs, so they know what it is worth. However, if college were paid for for them, they would not know what it is truly worth. Third, if college were free, students would go to college to stay with the trend. They would go because everyone else is, not because they need an education. They would later realize that going to college to “stay cool” is not the real reason to go, and they would be hurt emotionally. As shown, to save students from the emotional trauma of making college free, students need to pay for their own
A college education should be free because a better educated population could result in smarter decision-making at every level in society, student would be able to focus more on their studies,
The international business development has heightened the importance of international market selection (IMS) of companies, especially for their exporting strategy. However, not many companies really comprehend the geographical, social, economic characteristics of foreign countries in comparison with their home countries (Cavusgil, 1985). This fact has challenged many studies to create the optimal approach for IMS. The major question is: Which foreign market should a company enter? Thus, this report focuses on providing a practical consultancy to evaluate and determine its most appropriate foreign markets.

Why do we dream during sleep? The dreams are often very compelling, that makes us wonder of the purposes. But does dream has a purpose? Many psychologists believe dreams have many different features of purposes such as foreshadows the future, imagination of what we cannot be, put us in a difficult situation to confront and more. In the novel “Crime and Punishment,” the author Fyodor Dostoevsky utilizes different “dreams” to foreshadow the future event and to reveal his true inner consciousness toward his evil crime.
Too often, a marketing function is misunderstood, because many people do not understand what is meant by ‘Marketing’.
