Throughout my life my heart desires were always to help others in any way possible. The church that I attend “The Way World Outreach” has many different kind of organizations that involve many people that are willing and able to help others. However, a specific one sparked interest instantly which is called “Adopt-A-Block”. This organization takes place every Saturday from 9:00a.m. to 12p.m. and the location varies depending on where they are serving. There are many people that attend to help serve for this event on a weekly basis and anyone is welcome to join and serve. Each Saturday they meet at the church at 9:00a.m., and from 9:00-9:20a.m. they get into worship and prayer; and it is meant for each person to individually pray

I asked a few reasonable questions for others and myself to come to about the importance and reasoning on this organization and not only that, the answers have so much meaning and fulfillment that allows you to take a deeper look and a further outlook on life. “What kind of organization is this?” their response was “this is an organization non-profit where men women who have decided they wanted to give back to the community, and build community which is done through love because there is no greater force then love.” Most of the people that come out to help are older people that see that there it’s a part of them to help others and some that come not knowing what to expect and get amazed and come consistently every week. After getting into the groups that you’re in they go knock on everyone’s door and greet them in way that is unforgettable by showing Gods love and letting them know that God loves them and to meet whatever need they have, but most important pray with them. Praying brings so much change to the people because it allows them to start to develop a relationship with God and be saved. Not only are the impacting and changing their lives in many ways they are changing ours as well. “we bring love family support and it changes their mindset because now these are people that never had it and they’re starting to experience a real love and now seeing that they are more than just people that are going to help feed them but actually go through life with you. They have hope and see that they don’t have to stay where they’re at and I don’t have to be a product of surroundings but I can be better.” When they see we are able to love them and not judge them they
