Adolph Hitler, the leader of the Nazi party, rose to power in the mid 1920s. He was a gifted speaker and very much anti-semitic. When he started his political career, he was really a nobody. Through a series of fortunate coincidences he caught the eye of the powers that be in the party. He was a powerful speaker and was able to recuit a lot of new members to the party. He was such an asset that he was able to force himself higher and higher up in the organization or he threatned to leave the party. The leaders knew that if he left the party, the Nazi party would crumble. in 1933 he was named Chancellor of the party and from there on he was able to manipulate the system to become a dictator with complete control.
Hitler's anti-semetic led to his desire to annihilate all jews which is what led to the Holocaust. He described the jews as racially undesirables and that he would not rest until every last jew was eliminated from Germany leaving only a Master Aryan Race. Hitler was superb at convincing people to believe everything he said. He promised the people a roast in every pot, security, and many more things. By promising the people security that meant that he would keep them all safe and that he can do a better job than anyone else. Adolf Hitler increased in support from bankers and industrialists. So, pretty much he had most of the people who had higher power on his side durning this time period. This opened another window for Hitler to get more peoplewho thought that they had nothing and their life was over to side with him. President Hindenburg did not want for Hitler to become the chancellor so instead he appointed Von Pappen but, Adolf Hitler did not agree nor did the Nazi's. hitler eventually did become the chancellor on January 30th, 1933 Hitler then banned all political parties. In 1934 the president died and Adolf Hitler forced his way into power. Now that he was the president he can change anyhting that he wants.
Soon after Hitler was released from prison capasity, he was on a yellow brick path to his distinctive plan. He was released from a German jail for turning his life around, mainly for righting his composition. In search of a political party, he found himself at the doorstep of the Nazi party. Not long after gaining control of the group he took under his wing, he was rising up the government. Before long he was passing laws such as that once the current cancellor died or was murdered there wouldnt be a new election, but Hitler becoming the ruler of Germany.

Hitler started this program because he wanted to create a highly centralized state and one for the master race, Germans. Exterminating Jews was, for Hitler, the only way to create a perfect Germany because it would eliminate the ‘malignant tumors’, the race that caused Germany to lose World War One. Hitler’s decision to start exterminating Jews changed the course of history. In the end, over 6,000,000 Jews were killed and a Jewish state known as Israel, evolved.
There are many factors which lead to the Holocaust, however anti-Semitism was the greatest cause of the conflict. Anti-Semitism is the common name for anti-Jewish sentiments. While Hitler was in power, anti-Semitism was used by the Nazis to carry out the Endlosung, which means “final solution to the Jewish Question” (“The Roots of the Holocaust”). However, anti-Semitism was not something that was created by Germany. Through centuries, Jews were a persecuted people.

On the night of January 30, 1933, an event occurred that spearheaded the Holocaust, Adolf Hitler was appointed as Chancellor of Germany. Born in Austria in 1889, Hitler served in World War I under the German army. Like many prevalent anti- Semites in Germany, Adolf Hitler blamed the Jews for Germany’s trounce in World War I in 1918. During Hitler’s imprisonment in 1923, he wrote a memoir, “Mein Kampf” (My Struggle), which foresaw a European war which would result in “the extermination of the Jewish race in Germany.” Following Hitler’s release from prison, he resurrected the Nazi Party. He soon become the sole leader of the Nazi Party, thus all decision making was in his hands. The Nazi party began to multiply from 27,000 members (1925) to 108,000 (1929). Adolf Hitler was fascinated with the concept of the superiority of the “pure” German race. He viewed Jews as an inferior race, and as a threat to the German racial purity. Following the death of President Paul von Hindenburg, Adolf Hitler appointed himself “Fuhrer,” making him the supreme ruler of Germany.
Anti-Semitism was influencing the minds of ordinary German civilians. Adolf Hitler had previously been in prison before he became ruler of Germany in his second attempt. During the time he was in prison, he wrote a book called 'Mien Kamph'. His book was incredibly racist. Anti-Semitic, Hitler expressed his hatred for the Jews and influenced his readers into hating these 'impure' people.
It was Hitler’s ability to make group identity salient within the Aryan German population, the transformation of his ideas to ideology, and his deep hatred for the Jews that ultimately led to the Holocaust. Beginning in 1933, Hitler and his Nazi party targeted not only those of the Jewish religion but many other sets. Hitler was motivated by religion and nationalism to eradicate any threats to his state. It was Hitler’s ideology that his Aryan race was superior to any other. Hitler’s goal was to create a “master race” by eliminating the chance for “inferiors” to reproduce. Besides the Jews the other victims of the genocide include the Roma (Gypsies), African-Germans, the mentally disabled, handicapped, Poles, Slavs, Anti-Nazi political parties, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Homosexuals. In Hitler’s eyes all of these groups needed to be eliminated in order for his master race to be a success.
