Adolf Hitler Essay

“Anyone can deal with victory. Only the mighty can bear defeat.”(Hitler, goodreads) Hitler was a great military leader, but just not in a good way. Hitler had many great achievements like his sudden rise to power. In this paper I will inform you about Hitler's personal life, political career, and talk about what he did in World War I and World War II.

Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in Bavaria Germany. He was the fourth child of six siblings. When Hitler was three-years-old, his family moved to Pasua, Germany. In Pasua Alois Hitler’s farm went wrong and they lost a lot of crops, there family soon became poor and they moved to Lambach, Germany. Whey the Hitler family moved to Lambach, Adolf took singing lessons and sung in the church choir. When Adolf’s brother died it really change him, going from outgoing and enthusiastic to quiet and angry. Ever since Adolf was little he dreamed of becoming a famous artist, but his father wanted him to go down a different path of working at a customs office. Adolf decided to rebel against his father and purposely did poorly in school to convince his dad to let him go to art school. After Alois’ death Adolf’s mother let him quit regular school and attend art school. Adolf moved to Vienna and sold paintings and worked a part-time job. Adolf was rejected twice from the Vienna school of art. Adolf’s mother died in 1907 and Adolf ran out of money. Adolf had to live in a homeless shelter and then in a poor workers home. Hitler had a tough childhood and that formed the rest of his life.

Adolf was living in Munich when World War I broke out. He joined the army as an Austrian citizen, most of the time Adolf spent his time far behind the front lines as a message runner. Adolf was wounded and awarded ...

...nemy. Hitler saw that Poland had to be destroyed before they attacked Great Britain. When Germany invaded Poland alliances came into play and it sparked World War II. Hitler then called for the Jews in Europe to be sent to Africa, this started racism towards Jews. Hitler then began building up the German military and invaded Denmark and Norway. Hitler then successfully invaded France, Luxemburg, Belgium, and the Netherlands, this lead to Italy and Japan joining forces with Germany. After many victories Hitler had finally come to the end of the rode, he knew he was going to lose so he killed himself.

Hitler had a tough childhood, a successful political career, and he made an impact on World War I and II. Hitler was a great speaker, but used his gift for evil. If Hitler didn’t use his many talents for evil he would have been one of the greatest military leaders ever.
