Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in Braunau, Austria, a small town across the Inn River from Germany. Right after the birth of Adolf, his father, Alois Hitler, moved their family to Linz, Austria. Hitler was a good student at first while attending school in Luniz, but as he went to high school he became a very poor student. In 1907, Adolf went to Vienna Austria, in an effort to fulfill one of his dreams, and that dream was to become an artist, his attempt to become an artist ended when he failed the entrance exam to get into the Academy of Fine Arts. When Adolf’s mother died he continued to live in Vienna.
Adolf Hitler Adolf Hitler was born to Alois and Klara Hitler on April 20th, 1889. His childhood was unhappy, but not totally miserable. His father wanted him to be a civil servant, but Adolf wanted to become a painter. Hitler did well in Elementary school, but later on he failed miserably, which he blamed his teachers for. His father died in 1903, and Adolf dropped out of school two years later.
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th 1889 in Braunau-am-Inn, Austria. Adolf grew up with a poor record at school and left, before completing his tuition, with an ambition to become and artist. Between the ages of sixteen and nineteen, Hitler neither worked nor studied, but had gained an interest in politics and history. At the age of nineteen when his mother had died he had no relatives that were willing to support him and for about four years he spent his time on the streets and in shelters. In 1913 Adolf Hitler, still homeless, moved to Munich in southern Germany.
After his father died his mother, Klara Hitler agreed to let Adolf take on his dream of being an artist and go into a visual arts class using the money inherited from his fathers death. In the fall of 1907, Adolf applied to be enrolled into Vienna Academy of the Arts. Adolf failed to pass the test to get into the academy. After his mom passed away in the beginning of 1908, Adolf made the decision to the town of Vienna to try again at being accepted into the Academy of the Arts. Amongst other things, Hitler attacked Germany’s new democratic government and the treaty of Versailles. The Versailles Treaty ended the war and stripped Germany of most if its territory, forced the country to disarm, and ordered Germany to pay an extreme amount of compensations. The country then became bankrupt and millions of the populations were unemployed. Hitler had the personality for becoming one of the world’s most powerful dictators. Even one of Hitler’s major biographers said, “Hitler was a rationalist and materialist…What interested Hitler was power, and his belief in Providence or Destiny was only a projection of his own sense of power” (Bullock 107).
In school, however, Hitler's record wasn't very good, he eventually dropped out before his tuition was over. He dropped out with dreams of becoming an artist. On December 21, 1908, Klara dies from breast cancer. In 1909, Hitler moves into flophouses and hostels in Vienna and stays for four years. Finally in 1913, Hitler leaves Vienna to move to Munich, Germany.
However, by the beginning of 1934, a full year after Hitler's seizure of power, things had changed. The SA's usefulness as a violent revolutionary force had effectively ended. To maintain his position as dictator of Germany, Hitler now needed the support of the all-powerful German General Staff with its 100,000-strong Army which had the power to crush his dictatorship whenever it pleased. The big problem for Hitler was that Röhm and his arrogant young Brownshirts fancied themselves as the nucleus of new "people's army" that would replace the traditional Germany Army - similar to Napoleon's revolutionary army. This put them in direct conflict with the General Staff.
In the year of 1903, Alois, Hitler's father died. Two years after the death, Hitler's mother allowed him to drop out of school. He decided to move to Vienna and work as a casual laborer and watercolor painter. To help his love for fine arts grow, he applied to Academy of Fine Arts twice, but was rejected both times. Since Hitler didn't get accepted for the academy, he decided to enlist for the German army in World War I.
Hitler was furious with Germany’s surrender in World War I, so when he got back to his home in Munich, he was determined to enter politics and become the greatest leader in German history (Smith). He spent all of his time and effort trying to become the chancellor of Germany. Once he was voted into being chancellor, he needed a way to become the leader of all of Germany. Hitler gathered power through many acts of t... ... middle of paper ... ...ath taking in more way then anyone could ever explain in good and bad ways. On the other hand there is Benito Mussolini, Adolf Hitler’s ally during World War II.
Adolf Hitler's rise to power in Nazi Germany happened in a very abrupt way. He started as a military man in World War I (WWI). After a bombing, he lost vision in both of his eyes. It left him blind for a couple of months. While he was recovering at a military hospital, Hitler heard about Germany's surrender to end WWI.
