This applies to Adeline never giving up and always trying harder and harder to get into college and to be noticed by her Father. Thomas A. Edison said this so nobody would give up. Also, you have to always keep trying until you succeed, just like Adeline did. Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah is an inspirational story because Adeline got her wish to go to college, she finally got treated differently, and her father is now proud of her.
First, she finally got her wish to go to college by all her hard work. It was because of her writing skills that she got into college my making her father proud. She had to go through so much just to go to college. The main reason this is inspiring is because she had to go through so much and not give up until she succeeds. For example, “You will go to England with Third Brother this summer and you will go to medical school” (Yen Mah 93). The main idea is that she tried her hardest to college and she finally went!
