Bullying is a worldwide issue and should be taken very seriously. Bullying may not always be noticeable, but if seen the person being bullied should be comforted. Let them know they’re not alone and there are people who care about them and they shouldn’t think about anything that could be life changing. Bullying is unwanted repeated aggression towards someone else. There are four major types of bullying, physical, verbal, cyber, and covert. Each type of bullying can hurt ones feelings and should be taken seriously. Every type of bullying is illegal in the United States. Bullying is bullying and no matter what should take action if seen. Physical bullying is a major problem. Some examples of physical bullying is hitting, pushing, damaging property, etc. If experiencing physical bullying, do not fight back. Fighting doesn’t solve anything if anything it makes it worse, tell an adult right away no one deserves to me treated like they’re dirt (Four Kinds of Bullying). Verbal bullying includes name calling, racist remarks, and insult. No one should ever be made fun of because of their skin color or for their sexuality. The way they were born was the way God wanted them. No one is better than anyone else because of the way they look or by what they can do, everyone was created equal and we shall be treated as was we are (Four Kinds of Bullying). Cyber bullying is most popular out of all the four major types of bullying. This is mainly because adults can’t control what kids say on the internet. Cyber bullying isn’t only online but is also done over cell phones. Top websites that people are bullied on is Facebook and twitter. There are things that can be done to prevent getting cyber bullied which is blocking and telling the police, ... ... middle of paper ... ...uld make the situation worse (What Can I Do). As you can see bullying is a big issue in the world and action should be taken if bullying is seen. No one deserves to be bullied, and we should stick up for those who are. Bullying should never go to the extent where people want to kill themselves. It’s crazy to think that someone is okay with making someone feel like that. Take action when being bullied or seeing bullied it could save someone’s life. Bibliography "Four Kinds of Bullying." National Centre Against Bullying. The Alannah and Madeline Foundation, n.d.
