My name is Deljim and I am thirty eight years old. I came into the United States twenty years ago with the dream of becoming a successful businessman. Needless to say, my life took a different turn and my dreams were put on hold. When I decided to go back to college and finish my college degree, at this stage of my life, I never thought that it would be as hard and challenging as it turned out to be. The decision came to me when I realized, now in my late thirties, that I was stuck in a monotony from which I could not break. My dream of becoming a successful business man has proven to be a monumental task. Between work, family, and college demands, I have learned that my life has become a balancing act similar to juggling. The success of effectively balancing work, family, and college depends on having the support of family and friends, a well-designed time management plan, the necessary commitment, and a sense of personal responsibility to achieving your goals. As almost everything in life, college success can be accomplished easier with the support of family or friends. The first step I took when I decided to finish my college degree was to get the emotional support that only those close to you can give.
