Academic Dishonesty
Students in today’s institute of higher learning are not aware of academic dishonesty. National American University (National American University, 2016) has implemented a no tolerance policy on “Academic Dishonesty”. In todays’ society with the new technology savvy student, institutions are faced with a growing concern when it problem of academic integrity arouses. A prevalent question that students usually cheat just to get ahead is a growing concern between institutions and faculty. There are many forms of academic dishonesty and the problem just keep growing. The growing consequences are staggering.
Cheating
National American University does not and will not accept any form of cheating. Cheating, a form of deception that certain student in realistically time do just to receive a passing grade. Cheaters cheat because of the lack of educational knowledge they have obtained. There are many forms of cheating: copying some one else’s work, altering exams, obtain a copy of the test, using crib sheets, and the new I- phone method. In reality, cheaters never win. Cheaters are sometimes caught because they have a nervousness that they are under a lot of pressure to begin with. In reality I will avoid the many aspects of cheating.

Plagiarism is defined as not using proper references when needed. For example, students in colleges some times are so busy writing papers that they sometimes forget to cite the authors work.
