Reflective Essay
The program business and academic communication was split into two different parts academic and business. While in the business part we were asked to develop an imaginary business model within our new venture group. The most important duty was to form a professional business letter, and executive summary including the presentation for Dragon’s Den during our lecture, which was recorded and submitted through ‘present.me’ an online software. Sonia Bergman initiated with executive summary, while Christoffer Svensson and Philip Svenningsson wrote sales latter and financial consideration and I prepared PowerPoint presentation for the Dragons Den as well as for the Peer Review of the assignment. In a regular basis we met at university library to improvise our writing skills with the help of checklist available on PingPong.We started to write our documents in Google Docs which allowed all our team mates to work online, due to which we came up with an satisfied outcome with our own team effect . This approach made us time efficient as well as punctual in building the foundations for our assignments. We had only two or three group meetings, since there was no need of corrections as we improved ourselves in our progression period. Finally we presented the juicetruck business model to them and got a good feedback from the members of Dragons Den. We got opportunities to compare our work with other group’s design and presentation in this event and discovered our own talent which was hidden inside us. I pitched the idea which I learned here with my Entrepreneurship and planning group and they were fine with it, so I demonstrated the presentation in behalf of my group in Entrepreneurship-day to the evaluators.
