Humans come in many shapes and sizes, different ethnicities, and they also have strengths and weaknesses. Identifying each other’s strengths and weaknesses are important in a society because it helps us read people and balance each other out. The major weakness of man is abuse of power and the major strength of man is leadership. Throughout the Bible, there are many stories that portray abuse of power and leadership.
One major weakness that man has is abuse of power. Abuse of power is basically manipulating the control you have in a way that is most likely negative. I think it’s ironic, because I think that abuse of power is man’s biggest weakness. I think leadership is our greatest strength when we put it to the right mind. Human beings are very smart and when you give an intelligent person power, great things will come of them. There are many examples of great leadership in the Bible. Moses, from Exodus 3, was the leader of Israel. The Pharaoh enslaved the Israelites, Moses people, and Moses was determined to give them freedom. With the help of God, Moses sent Ten Plagues to get his people back. By doing this, Moses showed true leadership and nobility. Another leader in the Bible was Jesus. One moment that showed true leadership was in John 13 when Jesus was washing the disciples feet. He said, “You call me teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, the Lord and teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.” By this Jesus meant that you should treat the people who follow you right and give back to them what they have given to you. To increase leadership we need to have more teachers. Not a school teacher, but someone who will share their knowledge among others. People need confidence and a strong voice to show true
