Recommended: Pro life vs pro choice arguments

Abortion has been an extremely argumentative debate whether to legalize it or not. There have been various abortion laws that are written in order to give those rights to woman wanting an abortion. In the state of New York, there is one particular abortion law that has come to their attention. In my opinion, abortion should not be legalized, within reasons and circumstances. Even though I do believe in a woman’s right to choose, I also believe that every life is valuable and even though a baby that is not able to make decisions for their selves, they should be given a chance. There are some abortion laws that do not allow children being aborted at 24 weeks for the sake of the mother’s life. In Spritzers abortion law, it is stated that the abortion cannot be performed if it endangers the mother’s life. If a mother decides to have an abortion, it must be with an M.D’s approval. Taking any drugs in order to miscarry their child is also stated to be illegal. Now if we sit and think about this logically, is he actually condoling live abortion. In other words, is he stating that the baby must be alive in order to be miscarried? If abortion is performed, the baby should at least be dead if that is even an option. I do not condole abortion in any way, but there are certain cicumstances that it could be excused. For example, in a case of rape, incest, and when babies have an abnormal case in which they are dead or they will not survive outside of the womb. But even then, woman in these cases still give birth to their babies and are the joy of their life. Even if they have them for more than 18 years in their life or just 5 minutes after birth.
