Monica was a high school student that had a magnificent future ahead of her. She was the best of her graduating class and was known by all the students and staff as nice, friendly, and intelligent. Sadly, Monica made a gigantic mistake and ended up pregnant. She believed that her life was ruined and that she would no longer be able to attend college because she would have to raise the baby. However, because of abortions, Monica was able to abort her pregnancy and continue to enjoy her life. She ended up being the valedictorian of her graduating class and received a full scholarship to her dream college. An abortion is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy done within the first 28 weeks of a women being pregnant (oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/abortion). When it comes to abortion everyone tends to have a differing opinion, as seen in polls (gallup.com/poll/118399/more-americans-pro-life-than-pro-choice-first-time.aspx).
