What person would like having their life taken away ? Imagine not having any say in whether or not to have a life. Well babies do not have a choice in their mother’s womb. If a woman decides to abort her baby, the unborn child cannot do anything about their life being taken away from them.Their whole future is destroyed and they cannot complain about it. Kayla was 16 years old when she found out she was pregnant. She had been having unprotected sex with her boyfriend for quite awhile and she never really thought she would get pregnant. She was in a twisted situation, her mind was going crazy. Her boyfriend as well as her mom, wanted her to have the baby. Everyone else in her family felt an abortion would be best for her. At the time Kayla was living with her father, so no matter what, he had the last word. She had so many mixed emotions about having an abortion and she honestly did not know what to do.She went to HeartLine Pregnancy Center and got an ultrasound, but she was not even five weeks pregnant, so she did not even actually see a heartbeat. Her father was set on her having an abortion so she thought that would be best for her. She started detaching herself from the pregnancy and everything seemed like a dream. She had to wait until she was at least eight weeks pregnant to get her abortion, and when the time came. she was so nervous waiting in that room. She had no clue what to expect. She went into the procedure room and got medicine that made her feel woozy and out of the world. Lying down on the flatbed was the last thing she remembered. “Honestly, the abortion was not the worst part, it is the thoughts that follow it”,said Kayla. She is benevolent now and going to be a junior in high school. Sometimes she wonders...

...so speaks on the struggle between the culture of life and culture of death.According to muslims, life begins at conception and it is created by God. They believe the child has the right to care, protection and life. Abortion is forbidden in the Al Quran which states “Do not kill or take a human life which God has declared to be sacred” (chapter 6,verse 151).Atheists view abortion as a violation of human rights and hold pro-life opinions because of this reason . Doris Gordon ,founder of liberations for life said “the purpose of abortion is not merely pregnancy termination, its purpose is to kill ,to take the life of a prenatal human offspring under justice ,however there is no such thing as a right to kill innocent people - no exceptions”. Atheists tend to be against injustice ,violence ,murder, the death penalty and war. Therefore they can oppose abortion as well.
Only one person should be able to dictate whether a woman will or will not have a child, and that person is the woman herself. A woman should be the only one to decide what happens to her body. Abortion is an extremely personal decision between a woman, her family, and her doctor; there is no place for politicians or government to get in the way. The Republican Party rejected Roe v. Wade ruling and wants to outlaw abortions. They do not make any exceptions for the life or health of woman which is why their "partial birth abortion" bans have repeatedly been ruled unconstitutional by the Republican-controlled Supreme Court. Choice is a fundamental, constitutional right. It is a woman’s right to decide whether or not she wants to abort a baby, therefore it should be legal. It is too invasive for the government to attempt to dictate this. The ability for a woman to have control over her own body is necessary to civil rights. If you take away her reproductive choice then the government is basically forcing a woman to continue on with a pregnancy. How much is too much? How intrusive are we going to let our government become? Certain issues of morality are a personal decision, like abortion, which means they need to be decided and implemented by the individual.
How would you feel if someone decided that you should never get a chance at life? That
The state can not interfere with a women’s right to control her own body, as this would be interfering with her own basic rights to equal freedom and liberty. Abortion laws are unconstitutional as they take away a women’s basic autonomy through allowing for state interference in personal, bodily decision-making. Justice is only obtained when women have the right to their own body, and their own choices. John Rawls defined justice in two principles. First, that each person is to have an equal right to the most extensive scheme of equal basic liberties compatible with a similar scheme of liberties for others; and second, that social and economic inequalities are to be arranged so that they are both reasonably expected to be to everyone’s advantage, and so that they are to be attached to positions and offices open to all. Madam Justice Wilson is known to have taken a strong stand with judgment founded directly on the value of autonomy. Wilson believes that an aspect of the respect for human dignity is the right to “make fundamental personal decisions without interference from the state. ” Women’s liberty is denied through laws that interfere with these decisions; she is not free within society from restrictions imposed by the state’s political views. Drawing on Rawls’ theory of justice and Justice Wilson’s view on the value of autonomy as justice, it will be proven that abortion laws are unjust as they go against a women’s basic right to liberty, autonomy, and security of person The argument of whether or not a woman should have an abortion is not the focus in this paper, but rather the focus is on whether abortion laws restrict a woman’s right to justice or not.
Of the millions of pregnancies that happen every year, almost half of those pregnancies are aborted. What some people do not know is that abortion is murder; the life of an innocent, unborn baby is being ended because the mother does not want that child. Many people say that the baby is unaware of what is going and they do not feel anything; when really, a baby can feel pain just days after conception. A baby is a baby; it still has arms, legs, and a functioning brain just like the rest of us do. So why are these babies getting murdered? Life begins immediately after conception; Abortion is wrong because it is murder, a “quick getaway” and it is a cheaper way for irresponsible women to not have to take care of someone. There are other options that do not involve murder.
Abortion is the process of removing the unwanted contents of conception, which will develop into a human being, from a mother’s body. It has been a controversial topic for years and undoubtedly will continue as one until the end of time, with valid arguments being made from members on both sides of the isle. Many of the argument and issues pointed out are ethical, scientific, and moral in nature. When do these contents of conception actually become a person? Should abortion remain legal? If made illegal will women’s health suffer as back alley abortions are performed? These are some of the many questions that are asked when the topic of abortion is discussed. For the time being abortions are legal since the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision legalized it. This law is in direct opposition of many health care workers and nurses’ personal moral and ethical beliefs, therefore, we as nurses must examine our own surrounding and beliefs while at the same time being aware that proper care must be provided to all patients. In situations where moral obligations are tested, the professional nurse will remain free of stereotyping or segregating and will either dismiss themselves from care of these patients or will be nonjudgmental and provide the best possible care.
As I was doing research, I came across an article by Napolitano and I found a startling statistic:
In this work we cover a debatable topic in our society and no matter how many diverse and opponent opinions are, abortion keeps being the interruption for pregnancy, it can be by choice or not. Abortion is seen as a human right just as the public health.
Abortion, “the ending of a pregnancy before the fetus can live independently outside the mother,” (Brown par. 1) has been practiced since ancient times. With records dating back to the “ancient Egyptians, Grecians, and Romans,” (History of Abortion par. 1) it’s no question that abortion techniques have been used throughout the ages as an effective form of birth control. Pregnancies were once terminated through a number of methods, including the use of sharpened instruments, herbs, manipulation, and other techniques. (History of Abortion par. 1)
There are many limitations valued when it comes to the right of abortion. The news media still outlines the pros and cons of anti-abortion rights in certain-states-to soon, the entire country. My perspectives on the issue of abortion have been entitled from it to never be banned among citizen’s rights. The reproduction of pregnancy has been emphasized heavily on a mother’s decision to abort their child, but the father of the child plays an active role since he considers to that particular title. Through this current issue, majority of the people against abortion do not seem to have an open mind to how much it primarily affects the decision of the mother amongst her own views of considering abortion.
Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of a fetus or embryo from the uterus before viability (dictionary.com). Those who disagree with abortion think that this is not right, mid evil and a form of murder. All of those thoughts are correct; abortion is the act of removing a fetus from the protection of the mother’s uterus. However, is it not the duty of the mother to protect her unborn child? In this day in age, we are still allowing this barbaric method of ending a pregnancy to happen despite the many alternatives. If an unexpected pregnancy should occur, abortion should not the only option. There are many reasons why abortion should not be illegal in all parts of the world, and people need to know the options available. Adoption is certainly a strong option in a world wanting for children. Abortion is not a method of birth control and people need to be educated on pregnancy prevention and take on some responsibilities.
Abortion is a voluminous topic today all around the world. Differing viewpoints on abortion are recognized in politics, religion, and throughout the general population. There is a small amount of people who are nonchalant on the subject. Women have abortions for many different reasons and according to certain groups these reasons are either justified or not. Everyone tends to have their own articulated opinion, and many vocalize tenaciously what they believe. Pro-life individuals along with religion are sanguine that abortion is ethically and morally erroneous. Whereas those who are pro-choice say that abortion is inconsequential and the mother’s choice is more important than the fetus. Reasons to not get an abortion include risks involved in receiving an abortion. In some cases death can occur. However, there are other alternatives to abortion. For example, raising the child and adoption.
Why should any woman be denied the choice to do what she wants with her own body? Women should have the control to decide what is best for their own body without the interference of the government’s laws. Making abortion legal can save and protect the lives of the pregnant woman and unborn fetus. The abortion procedure can help a woman’s life by saving her from financial stress, difficult responsibilities, risky health concerns, emotional disturbances and it also corresponds with the law . The procedure helps the unborn fetus by preventing an irregular health, emotional, and social development.
The deliberate termination of a human pregnancy is called an abortion. Abortions are a widely debated subject throughout the world. In the United States, abortions are legal due to the Roe v. Wade law. Some would argue that abortions are ethnically and morally wrong, while others assert it is simply a woman’s choice. There are a number of legitimate reasons why a woman would choose to abort her unborn; financial status, age and health are just a few. With today’s technology and a certified doctor, this procedure is harmless to both the mother and her fetus. Abortions are viewed by many as dangerous and immoral acts of humanity against an unborn fetus. But in reality, abortions terminate a pregnancy that could result in a child being born into a family with inadequate finances, irresponsible parenting, and possible health problems. For these reasons, abortions offer a perfectly viable solution in situations that would otherwise result in children being raised under circumstances that are at best, not ideal, and at worst, harmful and potentially dangerous.
Abortion by definition means the way of ending pregnancy by removing fetus from the womb before it is able to survive independently. Abortion is an extremely debatable issue because while some people are completely against it, others believe that a woman should have the right to choose. Abortion decision is like killing own child or killing an innocent human life before coming out from uterus. I will explain how a human life is being destroyed, the process in which they destroy the fetus, and how to avoid this situation all together I believe that abortion is morally impermissible.
Abortion is an extremely controversial issue and one that is continually on the forefront of debates. Those who oppose the idea (Pro-lifers), thinks it is an act of woman playing “God” who live from who dies. Yet, whether an unborn baby constitutes a normal person is questionable; a pregnant woman, on the other hand, has the undeniable right to choose whether she wants to have a child or not. Therefore, the decision to have an abortion is the personal choice and responsibility of the woman, because prohibiting abortion impedes freedom of choice and endangers the physical and mental health of women.
