Abortion

Abortion is the utmost common medical procedure in the United States. American physicians carry out approximately two abortions for every minute of the day, estimating to one million each year since 1973 (Napolitano). That’s only counting the United States. If you take account of the rest of the world the number increases to approximately 60 million (Flanders 3). Ever since the court case, Roe v. Wade (1973), abortion has become one of the most argued about subjects in the world, so it is important to think about the actions taken before, during, and after the abortion such as rape, the parental consent needed, and the overall risks to not only the mother of the child but also to the family.
