One of the most interesting indigenous groups in the world is the Batek of Malaysia, this is a group of people that live in the oldest rain forest of peninsular Malaysia. Orang ASli means “Original people” in the native Malay Language, and they truly are the original people of the land. Being a nomadic group of hunters and gatherers, means that they are at the mercy of the land and the elements for survival. Batek beliefs note that, the rainforest was created by “superhuman” beings for the Batek to use and will destroy the world and everything on it if the Batek were ever to leave the rainforest ( K.M. Endcott 1979a; Lye 2004). The Batek believe that the “superhuman” beings created the forest for the Batek to harvest, build houses in, and provide also to decorations for their ceremonial rituals.

From the start of the human history, information traveled as fast as a ship could sail, or a horse could run, or a person could walk. It gradually began to change. At the invention of telegraph, information could be sent quicker. So communication was anticipated, it was more of a waiting period to reach to the second person. Then the second person received the letter or telegraph, sent the answer back, which was very time-consuming. Nevertheless, communication between people face-to-face was fundamental. It was as necessary as breathing, therefore back in the days, there were a lot of gatherings, and it was characterized by simplicity, friendliness, and socialness. But the technology completely changed the daily lives of ordinary people. Now days, people are more immediate.
The maritime Southeast Asia region was in my opinion, a predominant factor that arguably led to its social-economic development. The Hindu and Buddhist religions that originated in the Indian subcontinent was found to be immensely popular in the Asia region as it swept across east of Asia due to its holistic spiritual and uniting principles. The principles advanced social hierarchy and it is believed that it helped to influence the culture of the people. “The earliest material evidence of Hinduism in Southeast Asia comes from Borneo, where late 4th-century Sanskrit inscriptions testify to the performance of Vedic sacrifices by Brahmans at the behest of local chiefs. Chinese chronicles attest to an Indian like kingdom in Vietnam two centuries earlier. The dominant form of Hinduism exported to Southeast Asia was Shaivism, though some Vaishnavism was also known there. Later, from the 9th century onward, Tantrism, both Hindu and Buddhist, spread throughout the region.”
Being able to connect with each other, people are able to bring forth unity and prosperity to achieve the world they are content with.
The tools of communication have long served a single purpose, that of transmitting information from people to people. Direct communication was long ago realised with sign language and speech, but when people spread out, a kind indirect communication was needed. Thus we created (or rather, hired) the messenger. (Necessity is the mother of invention.) This evolved later into a postal service, connected around the world by a network of synchronised offices of a similar nature. For a long time, indirect communication was the only way to communicate over long distances. Once the telegraph came along, however, people were able to instantly communicate information over long distances. This evolved somewhat into the telephone, which spawned the radio and television. As these were developed, the efficiency and clarity of these transmissions improved, and this allowed the world to know what was happening anywhere else in the world at any given time.
Globalization and advancements in the internet and information technology laid paths to new ways of communication. Countries separated through oceans united through Internet and Web. Gone are the days where data and information was stored on papers. Now, everything is stored electronically which is more reliable and secure.
Indeed, using media allows people to communicate wherever they are in the world. Nowadays, people are travelling more often, for business, vacation or studying. In these cases, using social media can help reaching people on the other side of the world and keep contact with them. For example, international or abroad students can stay in contact with their families daily, by emailing, calling or texting them through apps on their smartphones. It is instantaneous; it is free and a lot more convenient than waiting weeks before to receive a letter from home. It also helps for international businesses. Indeed, it is sometimes complicated to reach companies based in another country because of the different time zones. In that case, communicating through mails become a quick solution to exchange information, at a low cost and

Can anyone imagine what will happen to Malaysia after a few more decades? Debt crisis in Malaysia is getting more severe due to lack of management among individuals. Serious debt crisis might lead to bankruptcy to our country. Nation leaders should lead others away from debt. If this scenario continues, Malaysia might follow the footstep of Greece, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Debt crisis can be avoided by providing trainings and courses to the employees, improve individual personal finance management and filtering candidates in hiring process.
