As I went through the isles of the book store, grabbing the text books that was required for my classes, I stopped in the ASC isle, located the two books I needed. One of the books was titled “Copenhagen”, by the size of the book, I determined it was a short reading required of the class. Having reading books galore in my lifetime, I tend to judge books occasionally by their cover. I glanced at the Copenhagen book, and really didn’t understand the context behind the picture on the front. So I turned the book to the back to read the short excerpt provided by most reading books, and came to the conclusion that I wasn’t going to like the book but I will get over it.
My ASC Introduction to University Life class was told we would have to read the book and our midterm will be over the reading. What immediately came to mind upon she noting that was “How are we suppose to read a play by ourselves?” All through out high school we always read plays together as a class, we were a unity when it came to reading plays and that made it so much more fun when everyone was a part. As I set one day trying to read the book, I felt as if I was schizophrenic trying to act the part of three characters and still remember what I read at the same time.
I would have t o say the book was very out of the ordinary after reading it all in one day, but at the same time I feel as though the book was completely over rated and gone about the wrong way. I think we should of have had class discussions on it, along with questions to help us along with it. We were not transitioned in the right way to start reading a mostly science influenced play by ourselves. In my opinion I think it wasn’t a difficult text to read, but it came off difficult, because of the languag...

There were three major events that took place in Copenhagen and they all involved Heisenberg. One event was when Heisenberg completed his doctorate, and decides to come Copenhagen in 1924 in order to research the quantum mechanics with the other character Niels Bohr. The second event was when Heisenberg goes to Copenhagen to visit Bohr, and they have a discussion which jeopardizes their friendship. The last major event was when Heisenberg returned to Copenhagen after his nation was defeated and readdresses the issues that had come up in his and Bohr’s previous encounter.
I found this book to be a rather interesting read. I enjoyed how Levathes researched this book and wrote it to try to explain about this specific period of time and how it is very non-fiction.

In today’s society, many countries and even citizens of the United States question the U.S. government’s decision to get involved in nuclear warfare. These people deemed it unnecessary and stated that the U.S. is a hypocrite that preaches peace, but causes destruction and death. Before and during World War II the U.S. was presented with a difficult decision on whether or not to develop and use the atomic bomb. The U.S. decided to develop the atomic bomb based on the fear they had for the safety of the nation. In August 1939 nuclear physicists sent manuscripts to Albert Einstein in fear the Germany might use the new knowledge of fission on the uranium nucleus as way to construct weapons.
I found the book to be easy, exciting reading because the story line was very realistic and easily relatable. This book flowed for me to a point when, at times, it was difficult to put down. Several scenes pleasantly caught me off guard and some were extremely hilarious, namely, the visit to Martha Oldcrow. I found myself really fond of the char...
...s were so long. I was just about sick of cod after I was only half way through the chapter. I feel like Greenberg could have done a better job of separating the book and make it more readable. While I really enjoyed Greenberg’s opening personal story, I did not see its purpose by the end of the book since he did not tell any more in-depth personal stories. For me personally, I did not really enjoy this book. I would not read it again.
My overall opinion of this book is good I really liked it and recommend it to anyone. It is a good book to read and it keep you interested throughout the whole book.
This is my personal reflection about this book. First and foremost, I would like to say that this book is very thick and long to read. There are about nineteen chapters and 278 pages altogether. As a slow reader, it is a quite hard for me to finish reading it within time. It took me weeks to finish reading it as a whole. Furthermore, it is written in English version. My English is just in average so sometimes I need to refer to dictionary for certain words. Sometimes I use google translate and ask my friends to explain the meaning of certain terms.

Did you like the book? would you recommend this book to others? Why or why
The book and the movie were both very good. The book took time to explain things like setting, people’s emotions, people’s traits, and important background information. There was no time for these explanations the movie. The book, however, had parts in the beginning where some readers could become flustered.
Besides the fact that I didn't like this play, the actors did do a pretty good job with their acting and memorization of their lines. Couple times Marisol hesitated with her lines but it wasn't too bad. I like the accents they were using. It wasn't to hard to understand what they were saying, but once again there were those times when their accents did effect a little on their pronunciations and my understanding on what they were saying. Overall, I don't think they were too believable with their characters. They didn't reach me.
I would recommend this book to all the public, because it is a really easy book to read (the easy version we read) and to understand. I think that juniors (next year seniors) should read only the easy version; I think the normal version can confused you very easily. To be honest I’m not into reading, but I can say that this was one of the best books I had ever read.
I found the concept of the play to be quite interesting. I learned new things about Martin Luther King such as his smoking habit and that he was a womanizer, both of
... cross my mind but I find myself thinking differently since enrolling in this class. I enjoyed this book because it allowed me to relate to the main character, reflect on my life, and try to change myself in the process of reading it. I was able to see the parts of my life that had not been even fathomed before. When reading the book I found it difficult to read and somewhat boring but once I thought about the concepts and people involved in our class it gave me a better understanding of the book. One piece of advice would be to have the five people/ five concepts before reading these books because I feel I missed some key points looking back on the book. I feel that knowing these people/concepts before reading the book would have helped me understand the book better. This book was and interesting one and allows for every reader to have their own interpretation of it.
the play was good. The first act was a little slow and tedious but the
