Systematic Theology: My journey to discover Jesus.
Who do you say that I am?
The center and beginning of my journey comes from my own experience, since the moment I was thought, in my family, encountering Jesus in my daily life, thus even though I tried to compartmentalize this reflection by starting from fundamental theology and follow a rational order according to my own studies, I just couldn’t because all my thoughts and experiences start with my encounter with Jesus, the historical Jesus and the Jesus of faith. So my start is a Christological one and from there, everything has meaning for me.
The first place of my journey is Scripture ( God’s revelation fulfilled in Jesus Christ who asked the apostles to preach the Gospel which is the source of Truth and moral teachings - material sufficiency / formal sufficiency), where I see Jesus who finds me and asks, "Who do people

Mom got the right idea teaching us about Jesus from Scriptures as a major source of providing the theological language and concepts. She also used the world around us: our devotions, our images and traditions. The traditions (with small “t”) take us to live out or Tradition, the ongoing self-transmission of the word of God in the Holy Spirit through the service of the Church for the salvation. Little by little I started to know who Jesus was for me and my community. What he did and why he did it, at least from my mother’s perspective and experience. Christ then is the primary source of my knowledge of God. It is from His life, death and resurrection that I started having access into the mystery of God. Those stories that I heard from mom were, in fact, the revelation of God in my mode of understanding and my own experiences. My understanding of who God is in himself is derived from how God has acted/acts in the history of salvation (as Rahner expresses it, the Economic Trinity is the Immanent
There are several aspects to consider when exploring the Christian worldview. There are many facets or denominations and they each have their own distinct beliefs and practices, but they all share the same fundamental beliefs. In this Paper we will explore the character of God, His creation, humanity and its nature, Jesus’ significance to the world, and the restoration of humanity, as well as my beliefs and the way that I interact with Christianity and my personal worldview.
Throughout all texts discussed, there is a pervasive and unmistakable sense of journey in its unmeasurable and intangible form. The journeys undertaken, are not physically transformative ones but are journeys which usher in an emotional and spiritual alteration. They are all life changing anomaly’s that alter the course and outlook each individual has on their life. Indeed, through the exploitation of knowledge in both a positive and negative context, the canvassed texts accommodate the notion that journeys bear the greatest magnitude when they change your life in some fashion.
As we have looked in to the Christian worldview of God, our humanity, the Son of God, and the restoration of our lives back into God’s purpose. Now we have a better understanding of what it means to be a member of the Christian community. God wants believers to dwell in union and in community having the same mind that is in Jesus Christ (Phil 2:1-11). This paper showed how God and Jesus Christ are at the fundamental core of all Christian beliefs regardless of the countless differences many Christians may
I grew up in a home with a family that attend church weekly and was active in the church family. I knew about God and about His son but I never remember the story of salvation and the personal need for a savoir. As a teenager I walked away from the religion that I thought did not offer my anything. In my thirties, my husband was diagnosed with cancer and I immediately started my negotiations with God. Little did I know that He was not a negotiator but it was during this time in my life that I needed God more than He needed me. Since accepting the gift of God’s love, the salvation of a Savoir, and the renovation of my heart, I look to God for the path of my life. I share Gods truth through my career change to a Christian nob-profit that’s vision is to share God’s love to the community through the platform of pregnancy care and family services. Personally I have fulfilled God’s call to help the less fortunate by adopting a sibling group and participating and supporting mission trips to third world countries to support his children and missions there. My final piece of God’s plan I feel lead to complete is to volunteer my professional expertise and finances to work with a mission group that provides laboratory services to third world mission hospitals. I have done one trip for them and am currently planning a trip to Honduras in the new year. My day to
Believing and having faith over sickness, suffering, and rejection formed a close relationship with Christ while enduring the suffering and victory over Christ being crucified. Because of this, Christians didn’t live a life of chaos but in a life that constantly reflected a love and understanding for them and...
My family taught me about Jesus at a young age, so I always knew I wanted to have a close relationship with him. Knowing that God is going to have my back no matter what was the best feeling to me. He will never leave a person or turn his back on them. The fact that the Bible guides people is one of the amazing things to me because one scripture can change a person whole life. My discourse community teaches a person about faith, love, and everything a person will ever need in life. Jesus encourages people, and supports people when they fail. Being a Christian motivates me and gives me a meaning of life. Being saved is easy, but the hard part is following his guidelines. He knows people are going to make a lot of mistakes in life, but the fact that he doesn’t judge them is amazing. Accepting Christ means a person has escaped that judgment and therefore they will have external life. Being a part of this discourse community has brought me to a new place in life, and for that I am
Just as one learn their true self through the eight-fold path so does other regions such as Christianity. Paul speak on a living a new life that is perfect according to
the path of god, but it is when we see Jesus willingly accepting to go
My life is continually unfolding into a more global understanding of faith, religion and culture where I once thought all was wrong and evil if not strictly Roman Catholic. One of the ways I cultivate my outlook is to analyze the different ways people honor the dead.
The teachings and doctrines of Jesus Christ whiles he on earth forms the foundation of the Christian worldview. Jesus taught his disciples about love.
“First, there is the call to be a Christian. Second, for each individual there is a specific call—a defining purpose or mission, a reason for being. Every individual is called of God to respond through service in the world. Third, there is the call that we face each day in response to the multiple demands on our lives—our immediate duties and responsibilities” (Smith, ...

For as long as I can remember, I have gone to church. My entire life I have known this concept of Jesus and who he was. And for some reason, that was supposed to be important to me. As a kid, I could tell you the majority of the Bible stories, after all, I heard them all the time. Even at a young age, though, I could tell there was more to the whole Jesus thing. It seemed that some people understood on a deeper level what all this church stuff was actually about. As I began to learn more about this Jesus, I began to question why he was important to me and what he had to do with the life change in the people around me.
After moving to Bismarck from India, in time of distress I found solace by visiting the church with my neighbor who was kind enough to let me go with her. My aim then was to pray and be able to connect to god and find peace. For me what matters most is that I am close to god, what matters most is that I should connect to god and be able to reach him.
This has taught me to become the person I am today, by following in our saviors footsteps taught me to never give up. When things seem to be at its worst its Jesus who carries the burden for me. Today’s culture takes advantage of the love Jesus has to offer, selfishness seems to be the normal act of today’s society. My Christian worldview helps my personal decisions I make with my family and career. I remember to treat others like I want to be treated (Luke 6:31, King James Version) even when other treat me unsatisfactory. My purpose is to minister to others how great God is, and to testify about the miracles he’s worked for me. God’s purpose impacts my way of thinking because of the instructions taught, miracles he executed, and the passing and revival he concurred
