A Reflection Of Observation

This was a huge learning process for me. Teaching a lesson was nerve racking for me, but it was enlightening. I have never taught a lesson before this nor did I know how to write a lesson either. I was one of the two that taught first so the one thing that constantly went through my mind was don’t mess up because this is a grade. Psychomotor relates to the origination of movement in conscious mental activity. Some students were fast at bouncing the ball than others, but it was enlightening to see both. I believe that this was appropriate for the students that I had been given to teach. I enjoyed being able to play the role of a teacher and give them not just feedback but appropriate feedback. During my lesson I wanted to make sure that I was able to see all of the students I had during the short period of time. While looking over my observation sheet I realized that there was nothing about my teacher movement on my observation paper, but I know I used back to the wall a lot of the time because that was the easiest way for me to see all the students that I was teaching my lesson too. I am bummed that I was able to see what my teacher movement was and if I used other movements, or if I moved around enough. There was an odd amount of student’s or I would not have been involved, but I wanted the group with three people to get the feel for what two people felt like. From my observer, I was under the good area for my explanations and instruction’s, “you only got asked once for clarification”. It felt pretty good to know that my first time teaching I only needed to clarify my instructions once throughout the whole lesson. The one part that wasn’t the best was my voice projection, on the observation sheet it was marked under excellent, but I know I could have brought them closer and made sure that each of the students heard my voice. I paid attention to safety making sure during the bounce pass the students weren’t getting hit in the face and that they were keeping their eye on the
