Recommended: Essay on attitude
Attitude is a person’s perspective or view on something, someone or the world in general. Attitude affects how we view other people, for the better or for the worse. What makes someone have the attitude they have can be traced back to many things, such as how they are raised and even basic biology, especially when it comes to gender roles. Attitudes can both limit your opportunities in life, and open you up to new ones. Attitude plays a very large part in how we live our life and how we treat the people in it.
Attitudes come from many things, and often primarily affect how you view others. Firstly, attitude primarily comes from the people that raised you as a child, and the surroundings you grew up in. As children we often mimic the things are parents do, and our parents teach us their ideals and opinions. Attitude can also come from your surroundings. For example, growing up in a colourful, more natural feeling home could instill in a person a more creative and positive attitude towards life, while growing up in a dreary, cookie-cutter house could have quite the opposite effect on a person. Secondly, attitudes can affect how you view others in that people often find and become friends with people whom they share similar attitudes with. It doesn’t really matter what you share an attitude towards; it could be anything. I believe this is because a person’s attitudes often reflect in their interests, and it is often easier for people with similar interests to interact with one another. In my own life, most of the people I am friends with share very similar attitudes and interests with me. Thirdly, your attitudes play a large part in the judgments you make about a person when you first meet them. This can be a bad thing as first judg...

...in the future. For example, if a person tries out for the track team and finds out they are really good at it, they may decide to try out a sport that uses similar skills such as soccer, thus finding new opportunities off old ones. Your attitudes are a sizable factor in what you get out of life.
Attitude plays a very important part in life and your attitudes often reflect your personality and interests. A person’s attitudes can change through life and there are many things that can be learned from other’s attitudes. People can also learn about where attitudes come from, and how they have changed throughout history. Attitudes play a major part in the world today and many major actions are decided based on a person’s attitudes. Attitude is one of the more important aspects of life, and whether your attitudes will limit your success in life or ensure it is up to you.
This can help us to be more successful, teach us of challenging ourselves to reach new heights, never give up and motivate us to do more so to enhance our intelligence. Furthermore, having a growth attitude is not something conceptual or something no one but others can have. It’s an incredible inverse: there are particular things you can do each day to sustain a development attitude. In case I haven't made it clear enough already: skill is something you can cultivate, not merely something you're born with. You can become more creative, more intelligent, more athletic, more artistic, and more successful by focusing on the process, not the outcome. Instead of worrying about winning the championship, commit to the process of training like a champion. It's not about the result, it's about building the identity of the type of person who gets to enjoy those
Introduction- In order to succeed in life, you have to be open to trying new experiences, even if you know you might fail. If you do fail, you have to persevere and try again if you want to reach your goal. To become better than you are, you must be exposed to new ideas and moments of failure and doubt.
It is believed that a person’s attitude influences their memory. Many researchers have conducted experiments on this hypothesis. It has been determine that attitude does have an effect on memory; however, there has been discrepancies in the research results to what extent am individual’s attitude has on recall of past behavior (Aronson, 2012, pp. 164-165). Research done in 1943 by Levine and Murphy indicated that people tend to remember information that supports their social attitude rather than information that does not (Aronson, 2012, pp. 165). Similarly, earlier research looked at the effect attitude had on behavior and memory and found a negative correlation among the two (Aronson, 2012). Moreover, subsequent research has not conclusively determined that a person’s attitude influences their memory. Aronson reminds us that there is still room for further research to determine exactly the extent to which attitudes effect memory (2012).
A person’s ability to succeed should not be determined by their past achievements but should instead be judged by their ability to adapt and overcome the obstacles placed in their way. To often do we allow our perception of our ability to do one thing skew the perception of our ability to do something else we hold in close relation. For example, this is often seen in children who struggle with the first sport they chose to participate in. Often their inability to perform well in one aspect of the sporting world causes them to they’ll other sports; sometimes resulting in the child giving up on sports entirely when they might actually have been successful a sport they had yet to try. The problem with attempting to measure future success based

By putting in the effort, you can be able to be successful within in the classroom and in any sport or elective that you may take part in. However , by limiting yourself to only what you have mastered will not allow you to grow as a person. As you mature you will realize that in order to become successful , sacrificing certain freedoms now will help you in the long run. Your objective should be to exceed others expectations of you.
I believe those that want it bad enough will go out and get it, and not miss these opportunities. If you miss your opportunity to be successful, you learned a lesson right there. And once you learned it you will think about missing out on it. Don't miss out on great opportunities, they mean a lot in your life, it's your future and it will impact you a ton. Success is important, it is what your future consist of. Also those that don't think success is not important will see it in the long run. So dont be lazy and go out and get the success you want. It doesn't have to be to play every minute of the game or who can run the farthest . Success is earned in many different ways. And once you have reached out and tried and tried you will see your
The decisions we make with the actions we choose throughout our lives, will help define who we are even through failure. While growing up I always played sports, both softball and soccer. Even though I was not very good, I always tried my best to have fun. It has always been my passion to succeed at everything I do and atleast try my hardest to become the best I can. While I have never been the biggest or the best player on any of the local city teams I played with, there was always a stigma of being little and not good enough.
In my life, I had not had the chance to be a part of something that influenced me much, until I joined football my freshman year in high school. Joining football was perhaps the most devoted and wisest thing that I did because shortly after joining I began to see changes for the better, and from then I saw the person that I wanted to be in the future. In other words, it shaped the person that I am today and will be for the rest of my life. Not only did the sport influence me but it also equipped me with a new mindset that affects me today in my decision making skills, time management and many other beneficial life virtues. I believe that these virtues will bring me success in the nearest future because I feel confident about myself and I feel more in control in my life through my actions, all thanks to simply joining what seemed to be a “regular” extracurricular.
The word attitude is generally a term used to describe the way we perceive and evaluate the social world around us, the way in which we build a positive or negative opinion towards something or someone (Crisp and Turner 2007). Most social psychologists believe attitudes are not innate and that they are learned (Baron and Byrne 2004). However there is some evidence that suggests genetics factors may have a small influence over attitudes. This can be seen in studies involving identical and non identical twins, whereby identical twins share stronger attitude beliefs than non- identical twins (Baron and Byrne 2004). However this link does not mean that our genes determine our attitudes it just shows that the relationship between genes and personality can have an effect on our attitudes (Aronson,Wilson and Akert 2005).
A person’s attitude is mostly what everyone around him or her will view them as. From this they can tell many things. Whether it is if the person is funny or down to earth or even irresponsible. Many times people change personalities often and they would be classified as being a dynamic type of person. A person who is doesn’t change is classified as being a static character. Willy, from Death of a Salesman written by Arthur Miller, is a static character for his inability to grasp reality, his poor parenting and his constant lying to his wife.
Personality can affect many things in a person’s life. This includes how a person will react to a situation. One can attribute different personality traits to different dispositional or learning theories, such as linking the dehumanizing of a victim to social cognitive theory. One can make an association between interpersonal relational aspects and some of these theories. Personality is an aspect of the self that people often think about but most never truly contemplate the meaning or depth of personality.
Attitude is a learned behavior that can be changed based on the individuals choice and wiliness to change. The Webster’s New World Dictionary defines attitude in three different ways; first is a bodily posture showing mood or action, second is a manner showing one’s feeling or thoughts and third is one’s disposition. In General Attitudes are the feelings and thoughts you have about yourself and how you interact with other people. Attitude plays apart of everything in society’s life, from taking your first steps, going to high school, choosing a college, getting a job and choosing a mate. If attitude makes us who we are, gives us our character, then the question I purpose to you is, can you really get an “attitude adjustment” or is our attitude defined at birth?
