A Persuasive Speech: A Speech On Education

Did you know that 105 of 128 public schools that offer ninth grade are way below standard? Did you know that, sixty percent of children in fifth grade cannot recognize the difference between a circle or a triangle? Did you know that an ambulance takes forty minutes to arrive after a call? Did you know that in Campinas, 13.28 people are murdered per capita? And that Campinas is the third city in the state with more murderers and the forty ninth nationally speaking? That is why we have to change. We cannot live in fear of going outside like now, we cannot lose our hopes when calling an ambulance. We have to believe in public school’s system. With education I will reduce these numbers of assaults, because kids will learn what is right and what is wrong, they will have perspective of what doing in future, instead of thinking about the free afternoon they will have. The next thing I will do is to implement jobs and courses at prisons and rehab centers to make those who have mistaken to learn how to be better. They will work at fabrics, the products they produce will be sold, and with this money, I will reinforce the number of police officers in streets and offer courses to prisoners and kids, students on how to make Campinas a safer city for all. The next point is health, Campinas has great hospitals, but the best doctors are only achieve through the best private health insurance, this isn´t right. We should have hospitals, ambulances and doctors of quality through the public health insurance, SUS. This isn´t just a Campinas problem, I know, but I want to solve it for you, the people who I will care
